I am sure I missed you Elin...but I hope you have a fantastic time!!:goodvibes

I was hoping to see a post from Tammi this morning on how is Alyssa is doing. Since there isn't prayers & pixiedust: for Alyssa. I hope that she is feeling better already.
I was just catching up before posting an update. What a long night. After I got her showered and settled back down in her bed, I laid down with her, probably around 12:30. She fell asleep for awhile and I dozed on and off but everytime she squirmed I was awake. What I really was concerned about was projectile vomiting landing in my face. Anyway, I don't know what time it was, maybe around 2, she throws the covers off and makes a beeline for the bathroom. Thank goodness she made it, and hit the toilet. Not much was let in there to come out though. I slept with her all night, just in case (of what, I'm not sure). She woke up this morning, looks good, acts good, no fever. Plus she was hungry. She's eating some oatmeal now. I'm thinking she just ate too much. Plus she had a half a can of Pepsi. My kids rarely get soda, usually it's only a drink or 2 of mine. So I think the soda gave her bad gas. At least that's what I'm hoping.

Tom - I hope all is well with Leighanna. :wizard:

Glad to hear that she is feeling better. Chuck was thinking and hoping maybe it was too many holiday treats or something.

I have that bag.

Do you use it in the parks? Do you like it? I didn't really get to try it on because of the waythey had the sensor tag on it. I figured I would bring it home and see if I like it. If not I can take it back.

I am so glad Alyssa feels better today! I hope whatever she had is over now! :wizard:

GUESS WHAT?! My cousin is pregnant! She is the one that lost the baby last year. She is due the 7th of July, and my friend (the one I mentioned a last week) is due the 30th of July. We are so happy for her. Her husband is worried to death already, but the are both prepared with the right medication now. Please keep all three of them in your prayers.
Great news! They will be in my prayers
Guys, I know it is late, but we could sure use some prayers right now.

Leighanna hasn't been feeling well, and we thought that maybe she had a stomach virus. Well, tonight she still hasn't been able to keep anything down or had no desire to eat.

We took her to the ER and they ran some tests, and feel that she is having an appendicitis. They are transferring her to Dayton Children's hospital tonight and are going to either operate or check further.

I just came home real quick to grab a couple of things, and ask for your prayers.

I will let you know how all goes.

Thanks!
Hope Leighanna is doing better today!

Glad Alyssa is feelign better today!

So DH came in from work a little while ago. He had something to eat, looked through the newspaper, then bounded up from the couch and said "What kind of ink does the printer take? I am going to go to Circuit City and get some ink!" Um, liar. Never, ever, in all the years I have known DH has he EVER cared about printer ink. NEVER. If the printer is out of ink that is MY problem. I asked him about 5 times what he was REALLY going to look for. He FINALLY admits he is after a camera battery, NOT ink. :sad2: Whatever. He doesn't have enough energy to put his clean laundry away, but he can go out in the 20-something degree weather to shop for a camera battery. Goofball.

So Alyssa had 2 bites of her oatmeal, but that was it. She did drink a lot of water though. No appetite. But her behavior is normal.

Elizabeth - Yes, I use it in the parks but I don't really wear the bag like a sling. It bothers me cutting across my chest. Not just THAT bag, probably anything.

I hope Alyssa is just feeling a little fatigued from her rough night! :wizard:

The backpack I always carry has 2 straps, but I always just put it over one shoulder. I am hoping the messenger back will work to just put the strap over my shoulder and not wear it across my body. It also seems kind of heavy, even with nothing in it. I need to play with it and see what I think. We are starting to amass quite a collection of bags we won't use. I have a mesh Nike sling bag, and that Baggallini bag I bought over the summer that are just sitting in the closet. I need to stop doing that. :rolleyes1

DH just called to tell me he got the battery. It was only $10, regularly $53! :thumbsup2 He looked at some lenses but they are very similar to ones he already has so he was able to pass those by.

That's how I carry it, over one shoulder. Seems to work well for me.

Tom- Lots of good thoughts for Leighanna. :wizard:

Tammi- Glad Alyssa is acting like herself. :wizard: that it stays away.

Debbie- Enjoy your well deserved time off.

Vicki- Enjoy your time at home.

Elin- Have lots and lots of fun.

Tia- Safe travels. :wizard: 's

Elizabeth- We have that bag and used it in the parks. I also lent it to my girlfriend when she went to Disney and she loved it so much she ordered one for herself. I use it now as Lu's diaper bag, mainly because Eric will carry it.

Well, I survived the breakfast. Lucis napping and Em and Mo are playing with their new loot. My house is relatively ready for tonight, just a few things left to do but I need another nap. My sinuses are acting up and the right side of my face is killing me.

Talk to you later.

Robyn - I hope you feel better! :wizard:
The bag I carry for Princess is HUGE, even though she is potty trained! :rotfl2: There is no way I could get by with a little messenger bag for her. Seems my excess luggage habit even applies when I am not traveling. :lmao: Really, I could almost fold up the stroller and put it in her bag. Not quite, but almost.

Tammi, Alyssa's hair looks cute! I'm sure it was kind of tough to watch though, it's a big change! I hope Olivia does not want that any time soon.

Kirsten and I were shopping at Target tonight....there was a fairly young man (I'd say 25) holding his 2 year old kid....the kid was screaming bloody murder and was actually hitting his father in the face......Kirsten and I just looked at each other and went on our merry way.

As were were leaving the store...I saw something out of the corner of my eye....a young child running into the street....an older lady started screaming as a car headed for this kid. If I wouldn't of ran into the street and grabbed this kid by the coat and yanked him back..... I have no doubt this kid would be dead!

After I delivered him back into the store, I realized it was the same screaming kid....the father seemed totally unfazed. Me on the other hand was in a cold sweat!
:scared1:

Hello all!!! I just wanted to post quickly before we leave in the morning.

As of this evening, I am the proud holder of 2 park hoppers for DL/DCA!! We do get to see the parade after all!! This is all totally good as Phil accidentally told me something that would otherwise pretty much ruin my trip. Instead, I am going to focus on the DL and the wonderful friends we get to spend time with once again. I'll deal with the rest as best I can and not let it ruin my Christmas.

I am so glad that Elin and Alyssa both got their packages today!!! We had a lot of time picking them out. I'm just sorry that I have a post office issue.

Tammi - I love Alyssa's hair!! It is adorable!

Well, I just took the banana bread out of the oven and want to put some pumpkin in. After that, I've got to go get the suitcases packed. Almost everything is together, I just haven't actually loaded it in as I needed the presents all wrapped and together. (Yes, I'm taking the chance that TSA won't need to open our stuff to inspect.) After that, I'm going to try to get some of my oreo balls and peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate. The family will have to do the rest if they want some themselves. I just want to make sure I have some to take and share with Michelle and our playgroup friends.

Tia - I probably missed you but hope you have a wonderful time

Alyssa has been crying on and off for the past hour and a half about lower abdominal pain, from her belly button down. She'll run to the bathroom and nothing. It comes and goes. I've felt her tummy but don't feel anything hard. She's dozing now but keeps squirming everyone once in awhile. She's really in a lot of pain and I don't know what to do. The pain comes and goes.

:( I hope she is feeling better soon.

oh poor baby. :wizard: I hope she gets well fast and they are wrong.
