Jen, :yay: for Disney.

To bad you don't have the time off, as you could get the buy 4 get 3 and the $200 gift card.

It will be just John and I for New Years Eve, so we don't do anything special.

So i may be going to disney in february! I found airfare for less than 200...it would only been for 4 nights, but we have one day off of work and i could take one personal day...i wouldnt have to pay for hotel (staying with a friend) so it would really be the 200 airfare and park tickets for 3 days!

:cool1: :cool1:

I've made a lot of progress on Hunter's room. I'll finish it tomorrow as the last thing to do is the closet :scared: I have to work this afternoon so I don't want to get into the project and have to stop. I'll finish it tomorrow and hit Nick's room on thursday. I feel good about accomplishing something. Of course Chris called. Colby answered the phone so I sat in front of the computer knowing that he would soon hand the phone to me. I hear Colby tell him that I'm just on the computer  Chris got a good laugh out of it though :sad2:

I'm working NYE. I should be home by 10:30 or so. We'll just do something here until midnight. Heck Nick and Hunter are up that late on non school nights anyway. They love the fact that I'm home during the day so they don't have to get up.

You'll never beleive this.

Someone found Bob's ring on Wed. The day he lost it. Why would you not tell someone that day!? Apparently the guy found it, left with it before their holiday party (because everyone knew that he was looking for it after the party) and told him today 20 minutes ago. HELLO?!?

Or is this just how men are? "Oh yea, I found something a week ago that might be yours." :headache:

But we have a ring! So enough with my venting.

I am glad he got the original ring back! I wonder what the guy was thinking? I wonder if he was thinking he might keep it, but his conscience got the better of him? Most likely it just slipped his mind, but that seems like kind of a big thing to forget. :confused3
If DH had found something like that at work he would have told somebody.

I'm glad to hear he has his ring back. Now, you need to tell Bob he needs to find a "safer" place to store his ring when he isn't wearing it.

DS went to preschool with a little boy whose mom is a Dr. She would use a big safety pin and clip her rings to her scrubs when she was working.

He could also put the ring on a chain around his neck, but that might be kind of "high school". :rotfl2:

I talked to my mom. She went back to the radiation oncologist this morning. They are hashing things out with her insurance before they decide what to do about that. In the meantime, tomorrow she has to go to the lymphedema clinic because the swelling in her arm isn't any better. Gosh, could that be because she isn't bothering to keep her arm elevated and do the exercises and wrap it in the Ace bandage? I imagine the folks in the clinic won't be very happy to hear about her approach to treating her arm so far! :sad2:

After that she has to go for a PET scan because she has some weirdness under her arm near the incisions. My first thought is that it all ties in with the lymphedema. Guess we'll see what they say.

Have fun, Robyn. I'm glad Lucy is feeling better!

Good luck with your adventure, Robyn. A hike sounds great, but not if the weather, temps, an wet grounds aren't cooperating, which they aren't around here anyway.

It's a good thing you didn't read that Jeffrey Deaver book I just finished. :rolleyes1 Be on the lookout for hired hit men and meth cooks.:scared: And hang on to your cell phone.

Robyn glad to hear Lucy is feeling better. Have fun today & I hope the hike is not to bad!

The hike was not bad at all, why, because we didn't have to hike!!! The park office was about a mile from the youth camping area. We drove from the office over to there and at the entrance we found a pedestal sign that said "area closed" and one arm of the gate closed. So Tina got out of the van and swung the arm open as I drove through. She closed it back up and we "hiked" over to the youth camping area!!! :rotfl2: At the office the ranger told us there were 6 employees covering 8 parks. There was also another woman in the office so we figured we were safe in not getting caught.

Wonderful, hope it works out!

Well the 3 days are free, so maybe you could book it, leave early but still get the $200 gift card & you only have to get a one day base ticket

Of course if you are staying off site, never mind :rotfl:
