Happy New Year!!!!

Looking forward to your review at the Poly
I'm looking forward to going to the Poly.;)

Kristin and I are home from PA.
Glad you're home safely!

It was there last week! I was kind of surprised since it wasn't there when you all were there after they taped the Christmas parade!
When I went last year the garland wasn't up on our arrival day as Lizzy & I went to the MK to see Spectro. We had an 8am ADR at CP the next morning and it was there. It was like magic! That was Nov 9th.

Thank God I am too old....and everyone I know is married and or divorced....because if I had to deal with any of this bridesmaid BS now...I think I would just die.
:thumbsup2 Me too only I would probably kill some one! I came pretty close in my 20's.

I finished Lizzy's skort for California Grill. I ordered a deep purple T for her to wear with it. I've got one cut out for Halley.

Day 1 of my healthier life has been successful. I have drank my 80 oz. of water, had less than one bottle (24 oz) of pepsi and exercised for more than 1/2 hour. That is my goal for the next couple of weeks. After that, I'll add more to the mix. I'll have one day of rest each week from the exercise.

I have never been a bridesmaid. :confused3
Well, unless you count Ms. Selfish's wedding, which I don't. For that I just wore a dress I already had.
I haven't even been to that many weddings. 6 or 7, maybe? I guess our friends just aren't "wedding people". :rotfl2:

do you any of you dvc folks have more than 1 membership number? if so, have you logged into the site lately?

We just have one number.
Have you guys received any sort of statement about your dues for '09? I know what ours will be from the DVC boards, but I thought we would get something in the mail. Then again, with our mail...:rolleyes1

the last funeral I was at there were several "cheerful" arrangements...I guess in honor of the person's life that they lived....I liked that concept.

Hopefully you will be with us for many years to come. But when your number is up I will try to remember that you want acid trip flowers for your funeral. ;)

Very nice :thumbsup2

You're doing great. I've drank no water, had lots of diet soda and no exercise other than cleaning, but I've stayed on the ww food plan. ;) We are going for the same goal in totally opposite directions :rotfl: I'll add water and exercise in later.

Jennifer I was just catching Chris up on the days activities of the DDA. He said to have you SIL order 2 size 26 dress and the seamstress can use the scrap pieces to build a 3rd complete dress :lmao: :lmao: And that came straight from a man that knows nothing about women's sizes. Does she realize that my 400 lb MIL can wear a size 26? I don't even think that it could be sized down that far.

:woohoo: That's great!

Bernadette - the skirt turned out really cute! :thumbsup2
Thanks! Maybe she'll even wear this one at home after the trip.

Very nice :thumbsup2
Thanks! Doesn't it look huge? It comes right to her knees and is fitted thanks to elastic in the back. I guess she's just getting big.:sad2: She made me measure her last week (when I was doing measurements for the skirt) and she's 55 1/2 inches.

I can't drink water when it is cold outside. I know, it's weird. During the summer I can down 4 or 5 bottles of water a day, but not in winter.

I am eating whatever I want, and I will exercise as often as I can. I like the Wii Fit. I bought some light weights several months ago but they are still in the car. I need to see if I can hold those while I do the step aerobics on the Fit. Eventually I will get back into drinking water, and after we work through all of the sweets we have on hand maybe I won't replenish my stash. We'll see. I don't want to be too serious about it or the pressure will cause me to give up. I figure some water here, some exercise there, we'll see what happens.

My throat is sore tonight. I think I may be coming down with a respiratory thing. :headache:

I just read this:
I went today and got B-Day Fast Pass. It was only good for 4 total rides and up to five people. I had two friends with me. They scanned EVERYONES ticket in order to get the B-Day FP. Then they split the MK FP rides into 2 separate list.

Donald: BTMR, Splash, Pan, Pooh, Space
Daisy: Jungle, Philhar, Stitch, Buzz lightyear

From those list, i had to choose two from each list.

For the most part it was a great time saver. Using the BDFP and regular FP we breezed through the MK in about 5 hours, and most waits where 50+. Not sure if it would be worth it on a slow day...maybe at Epcot or HS where Soarin or Toy Story are hard to get onto.

Looks like I'll be getting a gift card as this really isn't worth $75. Now I can look at things in Jan to get an idea of what I might like in May.

I couldn't do it your way. I am trying to be good on my food intake but I'm not counting calories yet. The other thing I forgot to mention is that I had breakfast. It wasn't the greatest today - just orange juice and yogurt but it is a start.

I hear what you are saying... but this is a very small, conservative town. I honestly don't think there was any thought to celebrate my MIL's life. All the other arrangements (and there were 20 or so) were exactly what you would expect to see at a funeral. I just didn't get it! :confused3

:rotfl: It probably wouldn't be any harder! She ended up finding some size 14s and 16s.... a little better, but still stupid. Stupid! :headache:

Jennifer I hope tonight you can get some much needed rest!

Tammi hope you are feeling better :wizard:

Elin the flowers are nice, but different for a funeral.

:woohoo: to all that have trips coming up soon!

Chanon what did you think about "Burn Before Reading"? I thought it was a little different & that Brad Pitt was a goof lol

Bernadette love the skort!

Did I miss something??

ETA:
I woke up with a sinus headache and one ear plugged up. Hopefully they both will clear up soon.

I see it now... I hope you are feeling better tonight too!

Sounds like everyone has had a pretty good day. Hope you all enjoyed your meals :goodvibes

My work day turned into 12 1/2 hours, so needless to say no ribs today. I have tomorrow off, so I will cook them then.

I am going to kick back & relax for a while now.

Chat with you all later!

I think you deserve a night off, Janet. Enjoy!
