Good evening all. Once again another crazy hectic day in our house, but still fun. Terra loved having Mandy here to play with her. Even though Mandy is several years older they got along great. Dad and Dave rarely get to hang out so they were happy and the rest of us just chatted. This family is also our camping buddies so we're already working on plans for our camping trip this year. Maybe by planning early we can even sneak in two of them.

We also sat down and planned out mom's vacation schedule for the year. We want to get to Branson for a week again sometime, but had to figure out when. I really want to tag along on Mom and Dad's fall trip where they meet up with Mom's best friend. Their oldest daughter already goes along and this year their next oldest daughter (we're 2 months apart) and I were planning to add ourselves in. Since that would mean Rachel didn't get to go at all, I think I've decided we should stick with June. Then, Tanya and I can try to sneak down for just the weekend of the fall trip. We've also got to work getting to Oklahoma during my cousin's leave before he deploys to Afghanistan. Or is he going to Iraq, I can't remember.

All of this on top of the new home living expenses and it will definitely be a tight year. Hopefully, once we get settled in our new place, I'm hoping to add a couple of kids to babysit though, so that should help. Plus, of course, trying to save up for Terra's birthday trip in 2010. Man, I had better get really good at budgeting again and really quickly.

So, does everyone get to have a fairly relaxing weekend or is it back to the craziness of regular life? I've got the baby tomorrow and Kaylin for part of Saturday. Sunday may be normal, but who knows yet. I also promised to make Kristi's a chocolate merengue pie so I'll probably do that sometime too. It was supposed to be made on Christmas, but they ran out of time. The crust is already done so that's half the battle, plus it just sounds really tasty.

Oh yeah, and Phil talked to his mom today. She said that her thinking on timeline is sometime in the next three months, but not for at least a week or two. She's working on their taxes and wants to get that finished up before moving on to the house stuff. So, I am going to check on open houses starting this next week. I'll also call our realtor friend so that she can start seeing what's out there for us as well. Then, I guess we'll start looking as we see good possibilities come up. Either way, it's real and it's soon! So so so so so excited!

OK, while I am sharing photos (no WDW shots yet... sorry!) I had to go out on a limb and show you the arrangement that was sent from the florist for Bob's company. We were speechless, although I figure they must have been low on flowers because of Christmas...

I finished Lizzy's skort for California Grill. I ordered a deep purple T for her to wear with it. I've got one cut out for Halley.

I like that fabric! I bet if you look long and hard you could find a hidden Mickey in there somewhere.

I used to be able to log in...see all my memberships, points, reservations etc. Now I log in, and all I can see are my AKV points.....and MS can't seem to fix it

Honestly, I thought she mistyped too? I thought she might be refering to the stomach thing we all had last week. Thanks both of you. My headached went away after I was up awhile, and my ear eventually cleared up, after I put some drops in it.

My parents arrived this afternoon and we have had a really nice day. The kids enjoyed finally being home and able to really play with the new stuff they got for Christmas. My parents got Alyssa the Barbie Cruise Ship and 2 new Barbies and some clothes. Nicholas got a Star Wars Lego set and Apples to Apples. I'm sure we'll be playing that tomorrow. This is what they got me.

Our pork dinner was delicious, even if I do say so myself.

I guess tomorrow we will just hang around the house and play. I might start putting some Christmas stuff away.

I may start taking down Christmas stuff as well. Mom didn't get to have her snowmen out for long last year as it took so long for us to get Christmas down. Plus, I have to pack everything up differently this year so I can move our stuff with us.

Well most of my family leaves tomrorow for the cruise--im kind of bummed since this was the trip i was scheduled to go on and had to cancel..Dont get me wrong, i am thrilled to have this job..Its just kinda sad when everyone is leaving except me.
Tonight, my brother, his girlfriend, best friend and I went out for a couple of drinks, which is a tradition before our vacation--so even though I am not going , we went out..Then my brother, his gf, and I played NFL monopoly--i won

Now, im just being a bum and trying to get tired again!

I cannot believe I am still awake and its almost 4 am! Everyone in the house is sleeping and will be up in a couple of hours to leave for their trip. I was all ready to fall asleep around 2 and when i checked my email before i fell asleep, my friend from iraq was online so weve been chatting..im going to be EXHAUSTED tomorrow!!

Our tree will not be coming down till sometime next week. We always leave it up till after Garrett's birthday. I am like Elin & in no hurry beings we put it up so late, I want to enjoy it a while longer & other than the cats laying underneath it, they have not bothered it at all
