DDA Chapter 15

When Jennifer (bear) said she could see it, I clicked and I could see it. Then I logged out and clicked, and I couldn't see the list anymore. It asked me if I wanted a tour of Google Documents. :confused3 Then I logged back in and it still takes me to the page that asks if I want a tour.

See my response to Jen. You should only be able to view it because you were invited. If someone is not yet on the list, or has another computer, can you check and make sure?

Oh, ok. I will go back and put the information in then. Are you the only one that can invite people?

I wasn't able to see it, but I think I'll hold off putting my info in until we all know it's secure. Thanks!

That's totally understandable! :goodvibes:

As far as I can tell (and I'd love for you all to confirm!) I have a list of people who have access to view the spreadsheet. It includes all the people that sent info and included email addresses. It does say now (I don't know that this was specified for a little while before) that sign-in is always required to view the spreadsheet.

Can anyone confirm that it's straightened out? If you click and have trouble viewing it, check your email -- supposedly an "invitation" went there with instructions on how to access it.

Beth, if you PM me your email address I will invite you even before you put it on, since I know you're here right now and can help me figure it out! :teeth:

I think that the privacy settings weren't specified for all users (only some, for some reason) when Jennifer clicked. When I read that you all were seeing it without logging in, I clicked around a bit more to make sure a sign-in (by an invited person) was required at all times. Does that make sense?

Sorry for all the confusion, and I'm glad I was around to read that you all had caught the issue!

Ok .... so you were not able to see it when you posted this. I'm going to "invite you" via the email address you just sent me, then see if you are able to get access. Thanks for your help!

I do not remember how to post a link that everyone can see for photopass. I can email you the link if you like, there are only two pictures. I just wanted the little photopass card that you are given(it is Tink size lol).

The photopass was tink sized??? OMG how cute! Now we have to make sure Sophie gets to see Tink in August,.yes please email me the link. thanks Janet!

Jennifer - I got the e-mail, and it brings up the list if I click the link in the e-mail. It does NOT bring up the list if I click the link in the thread. Did that make sense?

Ok, the link in the e-mail worked to get me there. I need to run for a little while.

Yes it does.... which is a good thing! :thumbsup2

I'm sorry, everyone, that it was messed up to start. Thank you for pointing it out quickly! :scared:

Thank you for compiling the information for us!

I went to the new Sugarcraft store (no longer a pink building) today and I thought of you as I drove by Jungle Jims. :)

And, I just saw your pictures of the girls holding their own bottles. :thumbsup2

My friend's baby, who is two weeks younger than Noah, can do the same thing. Noah doesn't get that many bottles, but he's not reaching out for toys or objects either. His hands are always in his mouth!

Ugh, I can sympathize! Are his hands red, swollen and FREEZING?! I feel so bad for the girls, but it's their own fault! If only they understood when I explained that they shouldn't do it! :rotfl:

Where is the new "Sugar Shack"? :)

ETA: And as for holding their bottles, it's hit or miss -- especially with Elise. She's usually too ravenous to even breathe while eating, let alone do anything else! :teeth:

You forgot WET!

Funny you should ask where it is. I asked my MIL the same question, and apparently she thought I would be coming from the opposite direction. ;) I'm sure Alyssa is going to tell Kevin all about being "lost" later.

If you are driving through Fairfield in to Hamilton (I don't know if that's E or W or N or S, because I stink at directions :rotfl: ), it is on the left immediately after you drive under the railroad bridge. I think it's about a mile before their old location. It's much bigger and stoller-friendly. It is not, however, screaming baby friendly.

ETA: And, why didn't you tell Pennie the truth on FB? You know, we met on a Disney message board! :teeth:

Jennifer, thanks for compiling the addres list for us! I can get to it from my email, but not from the link posted on the Dis.:thumbsup2

Deb, I am glad that Colby liked Starfall! Leighanna goes to that site at least twice a week. She loves the little stories and lessons on there.

Amy, speaking of Jungle Jims, I really need to figure out a good time for us to get down there, and have a little DDA meet!

Got it! I wish they would have made it pink, though! :teeth:

Do Noah's pictures generally look like this?

At least this time she didn't gag herself, probably because there were only 2 fingers in there instead of 7 or 8

And, why didn't you tell Pennie the truth on FB? You know, we met on a Disney message board! :teeth:

Pennie I wouldn't mind, but - as per the nature of Facebook - then EVERYONE would know, and think we were insane! :rotfl:

And besides, I totally didn't lie! Where did we actually meet? :teeth:

I definitely hear you about the size of the "toys" being sooooo small and the price tags sooooo big these days. And then to spend $30-$50 on a game without even knowing how good it will be...

I'm glad that Daniel likes the 39 Clues series. I wasn't sure when I bought it, but it was in a Scholastic flyer from school. I also bought one pack of booster cards.

Has anyone read Host yet? It's by Stephanie Meyer (Twilight series). I bought it for Laura and hope that wasn't a waste of money. That was also in the Scholastic flyer.

On top of those (and a few others from the flyer), I spent $48 at Barnes and Noble today on the three kids. At least I had a gift card to help with that.

I read the Host. It was really good, but a bit more dark than Twilight. I don't want to say adult, because there really is more "adult" material in Twilight than in the Host. I really enjoyed it, even though it is science fiction. I read somewhere that it is the first sci-fi book written from the alien's perspective.

We all have Disney trips coming up...maybe after Jen gets back? Jungle Jims and Ikea, get ready for a mini-DDA meet! :goodvibes

Yes, except it's usually his pinky and ring finger! However, I was begging him to suck on his fingers at Sugarcraft today.

Adorable picture, BTW!

I see, FB politics! ;)

And, we met in a driveway. :rotfl:

All right, I have to stop entertaining myself and do some laundry, unload the dishwasher, etc. Someone send me the energy and motivation to bake tonight, please!

Not to worry! Thanks for taking on the task of getting a new list together! :)

DS never did hold his own bottle. And he kept the bottle until he was 15 mos. old. The other nannies were thoroughly disappointed in me, because everyone knows it is TWELVE mos. to wean off the bottle. Ironically he did hold his own cup, right from the get go. But he never held his own bottle. He kept his pacifier until 21 mos. and then we took it away because his face was all chapped and sore. I had planned to take the pacifier at 18 mos. but I changed jobs and didn't want him to have too much trauma all at once!

Of course the charge I went to was allowed to keep his bottles (with FORMULA in them!!) until he was 3 and his pacifiers until he was past 4, so in the grand scheme of things I think I did pretty well with DS. :rolleyes1
