Oh that is cute!

My SIL is engaged! I'm really happy for them. This is the SIL that was almost not invited to my wedding because she used to be so downright nasty (and still can be obnoxious, but comes by it naturally :rolleyes1 ) but who is much more mature now ... and the future BIL-by-marriage(?) :) that keeps her in line and whom we love dearly! :yay:
Thats great!
I just showed Gary one of my favorite things I bought at Disney. It is like the Staples button but it has the Lion King on it & when you push it, it says "I am surrounded by idiots". I am taking this to work & I am sure I will use it often :rotfl: I know I sound mean :rolleyes1 It just cracks me up
I love it!

Deb - Will Colby do flash cards with you? Princess has letters, numbers, and shapes that we bought at Dollar Tree and she asks to do them ALL the time. There is also a DVD called The Letter Factory that is done by the Leap Frog folks - she likes to watch that but it might be young for Colby.
I just had my kids watch The Letter Factory last week--they loved it!

Heidi love the Christmas gift John gave you!

Elin congrats on your post count :cheer2:

The snow is coming down good now, glad I flew in yesterday!

I think, I may have just broken my finger tip or the entire finger. :sad1:

Oh, no! What happened?

Janet - I am glad your flight missed the bad weather!

DH just called to tell me DS lost his PE uniform. :headache:
I washed it and gave it to him Sunday night. He had it in a Gap bag next to his backpack. He put the bag in his backpack yesterday as we were leaving for school. Now the bag is gone. He has no clue where it went, when he saw it last, nothing. The shirt has his name written across the front in Sharpie marker but I am willing to bet he won't ever get it back. The shorts are those silky fabric Nike basketball shorts. Nice ones. I guarantee he won't ever see those again. :sad2:

DH said he offered to take DS up to the school to look for the bag. DS said no. I told DH that "No" is not one of DS's choices. He WILL go back to school RIGHT NOW and look for his uniform. If he can't find it he will pay for a new uniform with HIS OWN money and he will have to deal with the shorts being 4 sizes too big. He should have been careful with the Nike ones.

Anybody know of any shipping deals for JC Penney? They have the Nike shorts for $15.99 but by the time I add tax and shipping they will be more than they are worth. If I can get them cheap enough I will wrap them up for Christmas. I am really, really angry that he lost that uniform. I am sure they make the kids have ugly uniforms so there is no incentive for other kids to steal them. But then along comes my child who is 4 sizes smaller than everyone else and he can't wear the stupid shorts.

Thank you for all the compliments on our Santa pictures. :goodvibes

Glynis, I LOVE the pictures of Timothy in a stocking! :cloud9:

Heidi, your gift is neat! I hope your finger is okay!

Elin, congrats on another milestone!

Deb, is Colby having trouble recognizing letters or writing his letters?

Heidi I hope your finger is ok!

Elizabeth I hope ds finds his gym clothes. Riley thought he lost his last year & had to wear Garrett's old ones & then lo & behold he find them at the end of the school year at the bottom of his locker

Well it doesn't seem to be broken, though the tip is still sore even to the touch. I was in a hurry getting up from the computer and sorta pinched/slammed it between the chair arm and the computer desk and even managed to slam the key board on top for good measure. :sad2:

I am such a klutz, I should be placed in a plastic bubble.

I'm pretty sure it's 16!

ETA: I just checked, and next year's princess one is actually 14!

Edit 2: For the 2009 Marathon weekend it's the same -- 14 for the half, any age for the 5K (children with parents) and 18+ for the full or for the Goofy

Awesome!!! I guess Marina and I will start training as soon as I get the all clear from my doctor. This time I will beat my time from last half!

but then you'd be like me and find a way to hurt yourself in there too!!:rotfl:

Thanks for all the comments on our pictures.

Heidi - I hope your finger feels better soon! I have slammed mine between the chair and desk, and that's no fun at all!

Elizabeth - I'm so sorry that your son lost his stuff. We had a similar situation with Jacob losing his expensive lunch box. It was personalized with his name, but that means nothing as there are at least 15 other Jacobs in his grade alone! Day after day, he'd report that he "forgot" to look for it. Finally, I told him he was grounded from playing with friends until he looked in lost and found and asked the lunch room monitor if she'd seen it. Lo and behold, the very next day, he comes home with the lunch box!

Ouch!!!:headache: Hope it feels better.

Here are some shots of last weekend.

CSR pool. This looked very nice but it was too cold to try it out.

We stayed in Rachos building 6B, 1st floor. The resort was beautiful.
