Um, hello? Packing should have been completed at the 12 day mark, NOT the day BEFORE! Tsk, tsk.

Good Morning!! Well, they lasted until a quarter to 5 last night before work called me in a tizzy. I will go in SOMETIME today and help them out (for pay).

Heh heh. I wouldn't be in a hurry to bail them out, but at least you will be paid for it.

I slept in this morning. I still feel like something is manifesting, but maybe not. I figured extra sleep could only help. My plans for the day are to hit the USPS for a package, sign the boys up for snowboarding, pick up Colby, finish my outside decorations, make dinner. I'm working tonight at 6 PM for a Christmas party. I should have 16 - 20 patrons I guess I should get going.

Princess has her last cooking class today.

We need to go look at invitations for her birthday party, but I am dreading that. The shop Momboss wants them from is this teeny, cramped little hole in the wall place. It is a NIGHTMARE to park over there because you have to back out onto a super busy street with limited visibility. I HATE to go there. HATE it. I took Princess with me last year in her stroller but no matter what I did she could reach stuff. It's not a stroller friendly place and it gives me stress to go in there. Momboss wants me to go buy several designs so she can choose one, then I will have to return the others. I know last year they were not very pleased with that plan, but they did let me do it. So I am not making just one trip over there, but TWO. We aren't going after cooking because it will be lunchtime and the traffic will be even more hellish than usual. I was REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping to be able to avoid that shop, but Momboss added to my note this morning that I need to go to that specific shop. So I will have to figure something out.

Could you take photos with your phone, send them to momboss and have her select while you are still there? That would mean only one trip, but you'd be there longer that one time.

I know exactly where you are talking about. Park on the very end (the one with the Not Just Soccer shop) so that you are not parking on Preston. Take princess some colors, sit her down at the table, and tell her if she doesn't move or get out of the chair she gets a surprise like extra time doing her favorite activity/tv or something.

My two Christmas trees are up in the dining room and the living room. Unfortunately the one in the dining room does not light. It will be unlit, I fear, because I just don't have time to trouble shoot or get a new one!

I do usually try not to park on Preston, but then I can't get back out because I can't turn left across Preston since there isn't a light there. Princess is in a not-so-delightful phase where she really does NOT behave very well, and I can never tell when she will behave and when she won't. Lollipops are usually a good bribe, but every once in awhile she will give up the treat in favor of acting like a demon. It would be MUCH better if I could go tomorrow morning right at 10 AM when they open, but I am worried that this was a task intended to be completed immediately instead of when I got around to it.

DH is in a snit about vacation. The bid rosters came out today and he is all mad about the way it is printed off, the seniority ranking is confusing, he is bidding too late in the day, etc. I told him that week in August is mandatory, the second week is HIS CHOICE and I do not care what he does with it. If he wants to take 2 weeks in August, fine. If he wants to take a week in December that's fine. If he wants to try for the last week of January so he'll be off for DS's birthday that's fine. I do NOT have a preference - his choice. But he says we have to sit down and talk about it. No, we don't! Because it is UP TO HIM. We HAVE TO have the week in August and he can choose any of the other 51 weeks he wants. I don't care. But whatever he is doing he needs to have those weeks written down in order of preference so he doesn't end up with a week he doesn't really want.

I tried a few dates but nothing is available for Lion King. We'd need a weekend, but I will keep trying..I did find one thing in Feb but I cannot commit to being here in Feb at this point. That is one thing I am going to miss terribly is the NY theater..that & the beach!
