DDA Chapter 15

No!! But it sounds like fun. Tell me more when you find out about it!
I've read reviews and it sounds exactly like Disney Scene It, but in Wii. It's hosted by Genie and you can pick your Disney character. Think Jeopardy, but with a Disney twist. The reviews say it's mediocre at best, with questions repeating after a few rounds. It does say that if you have small kids or can't get enough Disney, it's for you!

Glynis - Poor Katie. Poor you. Poor Alan. I hope her head is okay and that Alan gets everything fixed.

Thanks for the link. I think it is not for us. We have a PC Disney Trivia game that was given to us by one of Kristin's friends and it sounds a LOT like that.

Santa never wraps gifts that come to our house, Jennifer! He never wrapped those that came to my house when I was growing up either. Makes things much easier!

Santa doesn't wrap in our house either. Everything is ready to be played with. Emma got a big kick last year when her DS had her nickname programmed into it!

This brought tears to my eyes, Robyn. How perfectly you said it.

I hope the rest of your drive goes smoothly and you have a wonderful Thanksgiving visit!

Aw, thanks. I know for one I am very thankful for each and every one here. There are days I would have completely lost it without you and the friendships that have developed over the years!

We are an hour out!! And I am so glad we came!!!:yay:

 They won't care! Still, I hope your day gets less stressful. I can't believe how close you are to meeting Peanut! :goodvibes

I'm a lot calmer, now. My BIL came over and fixed the vacuum, so I was able to get the glass off the floor. Alan will deal with the light issue when he gets home. Katie is appropriately sorry, and realizes now that jumping on beds is probably not the best idea.

Whew!

I keep reading about this idea, but I just can't do it. Santa ALWAYS wrapped my gifts growing up, and there's just something to me about opening the gifts one by one, after seeing them all wrapped under the tree..... boo. I wish I could give it up! :rotfl:

It's hard to give up your childhood traditions. Do what feels right to you. Our traditions have evolved over the years as we've added more kids. It's interesting to see where we've come from where we started.

Glynis - Poor Katie. Poor you. Poor Alan. I hope her head is okay and that Alan gets everything fixed.

Thanks, Tammi. Her head is fine. She did cut her knee on a shard of glass, but it's not deep. Serves her right, I say.

I don't know when I'll be back on but I figure it probably won't be until Saturday evening when we start back home.

I want to wish each and everyone of you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Good Morning!

1 Week from today I will be in Disney with Chanon & Janet!!!!!!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

:goodvibes

Tom - Leighanna is beautiful.

Glynis - I hope peanut waits until Friday. Just take it easy the next few days.

Vicki - I'm glad Becky is joining you. Safe travels.

To all who are feeling under the weather, get better soon. And keep it away from me!

I asked Nicholas last night now that he has been on his inhaler for a week if he was feeling any better. He said yes, that his noise isn't stuffy anymore (I don't know if that has anything to do with the inhaler, but whatever) and that he isn't coughing at all. Deb, I had a suspicion that Nicholas had at least seasonal allergies, but put off taking him for testing because I thought it would be painful for him. It wasn't, at all! He did wonderfully. Now I know that he can be more comfortable with maintenance medication. If you think Hunter may have allergies, go get him tested!

We are prepared to do whatever we need to to solve the headache mystery. He has not had one today, but he did take Advil this morning for his flat feet so that may have something to do with it? The Peds office called today to reschedule the appointment into a longer time slot. Our new Ped wants to make sure he has plenty of time to full examine him. They also did it early enough in the afternoon that he can order tests that can be completed that day.

Well, it was a quiet night, last night. No significant contractions, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

This morning is another story, however. I sent Katie in to make sure the guest room is guest ready. She decided that she could make the bed by jumping on it, and crashed into the overhead lamp. Now the light won't work, and the bed is covered in glass shards. Grrrr! Why would an 11 year old think that was a good idea????? I'm trying not to be angry, as she could have been seriously hurt, but she wasn't, and I'm angry.

My brother and his family will be here in 2 to 4 hours, and now there is no light in their room, and our vacuum cleaner is not working, so I can't pick up the miniscule glass shards. I put a call in to Alan, and he's going to try to come home on his lunch hour and deal with it all.

Anyone want an 11 year old girl??? I'll sell her cheaply!

:headache:

This is sort of cute, from my twins club newsletter:

I need to head off to work. When I get home I can clean the turkey and make the stuffing. I could also make the corn muffins though I may wait until tomorrow morning. It is being reported that many stores are going to have there Black Fridays sales start online at Midnight tonight so I will have to stay up to check that out too. Then I need to put the Turkey in the oven at 4 AM which will require stuffing it at that time. Of course I plan on very little sleep tomorrow night too :sad1:
