Beautiful pictures, Robyn!!! The shirt is very appropo, he is quite handsome!

Robyn - OMG! That baby is so adorable! LOVE the pic of him with Alyssa!
Glad you got the scout account opened! :thumbsup2

The birthday party wasn't bad. Princess and 2 other girls were the only guests from the class. We arrived a little bit late and when we walked in I didn't see ANYBODY I recognized. I thought we were in the wrong room. I finally did see a couple people we knew, but the majority were people we did not know. Princess wasn't as shy as I feared she might be, so that was good. After the party we went to dinner with DS and DH, now we are home.

Sea Day

So today was I think the only day that we ate breakfast in Lumiere's. Lumiere's was not open everyday for breakfast. Some days it was open for brunch. But most days we just slept in and got up after they had breakfast available there.

Now why was I up early enough for breakfast on a sea day?? I had planned a Scout patch swap event and it started at 9:30am in the Promenade Lounge. Was this the best time for this event probably not. Although I figured people would want to do other things later in the day. So a few participants sent others in their place or were unable to attend.

The kids that did attend had a good time. After the patch swap, the girls moved to Diversions as they were working on a Try-It/ Badge on travel. We moved to Diversions as the Mickey 200 was occurring in the Promenade Lounge. Tracy(winotracy) from Dreams Unlimited came and talked to the girls and they did several other activities to complete the awards.

We headed back to the room and our Castaway Club invites were waiting for us.

We then headed to the Panama Canal Presentation being put on by Ken Puckett. It was very informational and a good way to learn more about the canal. He was a senior canal pilot on the canal.

Before long it was time for the Castaway Club reception to occur. Since there were over 2000 CC members it was held on deck 9 by the Goofy Pool. They had food and drinks for us. It was the largest group of CC members to sail.

We went to the show in the Walt Disney Theater, Ron Lucas was performing

Then we headed to Studio Sea, for Who Wants to Be a Mouseketeer. Our tablemate Suzanne ended up being chosen to play.

We actually left before she was finished playing to go and change for dinner. We were greeted by this guy at our room. Yep a blanket turtle.

They had trays and trays of them and not that many people showed up. I think it was because, they knew if they wanted to enjoy Acapuclo we all needed to get off the ship and be back on by 1pm in order to get to the Panama Canal on time.

HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY JENNIFER!

Happy Birthday!

Cute pics, Robyn!

Elizabeth -- I'm glad your day is almost over.

Becky -- are you making me hungry!

A very long day today, with tons of errands, work and shopping. I almost have Christmas errands finished, as well as birthday errands. I left home at 8:30 this morning, and got back home at 7:30 tonight. A good thing -- I picked up PF Chang's for dinner...

Have a good evening everyone. :)

Mac love the picture of Mya, hope she had a wonderful birthday.

Heidi hope you were able to finish your shopping.

Elin hope you had a good day shopping.

Becky great update on your TR.

Elizabeth hope the rest of your evening is relaxing.

Robyn looks like Emmas party was a lot of fun(minus the girl running into the wall).

Stephanie & Terry glad you got the return trip tickets taken care of.

:wizard: & to all!

Princess is in bed, but she is coughing a lot so I am not sure if she is awake or asleep.

It is cold in here. I turned the heat up (I think) so hopefully it will warm up a little. I am not 100% clear on how the thermostat works.

I have the alarm on so I need to remember NOT to open the door to the garage unless I disarm it first. :rolleyes1

Acapulco

So today was our shortest time period in any port. Since we were only in this port until 1pm. We knew if we wanted to disembark, we needed to not sleep in until noon. We were thinking about going over to the fort directly across from the port. Well the time all the DISers were meeting it was raining.

So we stayed on the ship a bit longer, waiting to see if the weather would clear. Although by this time I was already getting to the point where I was thinking staying on the ship would not be a bad thing.

We did eventually decide to get off the ship for a short period of time as it stopped raining.

We started to head back to the ship. We did not stay out long, but wandered around some

DSC08116.jpg

Before we got back to the ship, a port authority employee stopped me and asked if he could have my lanyard as he collects them. I did end up giving it to him, as I had several other Castaway club lanyards. He was so excited to have a DCL lanyard. I was so glad that I could make his day.

DSC08126.jpg

It was of neat that we were greeted with a character when we got on the ship and left. We know they were not out there the entire time.

DSC08139.jpg

Car anyone?? There were loads of cars waiting by the port

DSC08146.jpg

DSC08152.jpg

Once back on the ship, we headed to Topsiders for lunch. We were going to join our tablemates for lunch outside. We are glad we chose not to as it started to rain cats and dogs sideways. Can I just say I was glad I was on the ship and not out in the rain.

The wind knocked the chair over

I had a "wish I could forget" incident at work today. I was in the office & an employee came to look at his schedule(he always has some comment to say & I normally let it roll off my back). Today he said the wrong thing & it just tripped my trigger & I went off on him. I was so loud the employees up front as well as the customers heard. I do not feel bad for what I said to the employee, but I do feel bad that everyone else heard me. I should have handle myself better. All I know is that I snapped & I should not have let that happen. If I would have been that employee, I would have walked out.

Today was not one of my most gracious days.

before I forget:

As part of the party I have codes for aerobed.

40% off today is HPTODAY (I just got a bed for an awesome price here...more than one nearly ate all of the savings in shipping charges :scared1: )

30% off through the 30th is HPNOV

25% off in December is HPDEC

this is off all regular prices at www.aerobed.com/houseparty I thought it was just the items they highlighted until I investigated a little...I got the bed with a carrying backpack and it's own battery powered pump.

After I got home from work tonight I received a call from Target for an interview. I am just looking for something part time & I doubt anything will become of it beings my hours of availability are so limited.

Anyway my question is should I tell about my trip coming up in a couple of weeks during the interview or wait to see if they hire me? I am not sure what is the proper way to handle this.

I've had those days (actually a lot of them lately).

I am sorry the employee hit a trigger.

Anyone else order this new magazine:

http://www.celebrationspress.com/

I received my 1st issue a few of days ago & it looks to be a very good one! I have not read anything in it yet as I am saving it for my flight in a couple of weeks(if I can hold out that long lol).

I guess now is the time to tell everyone that I have turned off all notifications so if I don't get on Facebook I won't know that you have tried to contact me. I just cannot keep up with all the stuff on there. Fish and plants and Christmas ornaments and trees.... just too much "stuff" to keep track of.

Hopefully no one's feelings will be hurt.
I accepted a couple of ornaments and that was it. I have 286 requests that I just can't get to. It takes me hours to read everything here. I keep my status updated and that's about it!!!
