Good morning, DDA!

It is chilly here! I got up and decided to turn the heat back on!

When I came home last night DH said our next door neighbors are moving out. They were supposed to just be here for a few months but it has been over a year. They had a LOT of problems with the house they were building. Now I can worry about who will move in. :scared: We have been SO lucky with all of the neighbors in that apartment so far that I worry our luck will run out.

Well I hope you don't get neighbors that have 2 labs that they let out on a Saturday morning at 7:20 to bark and wake the whole neighborhood up. I swear mine don't think of anyone but themselves.

just hand out the coupons!! I think it really is just to get it into people's heads.

That sounds doable. Would you mind sharing the website or info. You can PM me if you like.

We have bowling this morning. Of course our cat had a bee in his bonnet last night. He walked around the house for hours howling away. I have no idea why he was upset, but man he was. He ended up pushing the door to the laundry room opening, knocking one of my tank tops off the folding shelf and leaving me a little present  I think he was trying to make a point :confused3 I wonder if he was mad that we closed the windows or if he just really wants to get out :confused3 Another night like that and I will let him out:rolleyes1

Tammi - I am out and about this morning, so give me a call on my cell. I am also trying to get my hair done so even if you think I am home... I might not be!

I've done a few House Party's too - I got the one for the Closer preview party and that came with the first show of the new season and also 10 wine openers, 10 wine bottle carriers and 10 wine glasses. I wasn't able to get anyone to come over, so I just passed out the items and the CD around to a few friends. Worked out great!

Morning DDA!! Mom prints her boarding pass today!!! And 25 days to go!!!

Deb...

I was going to go pick up that laptop you mentioned from Walmart...

clearly I am a novice when it comes to sales like this.....TONS OF PEOPLE lined up hours early. Needless to say I got NOTHING!

Came home and the House Party box was here waiting for us:cool1: There was 5 CD's...depending on who comes is who gets em (other than Amy Grant...that one is mine:goodvibes ). Turns out who I thought was a singer is actually a catalog company for Cd's:lmao: Tara Leigh. There is a cd sampler for everybody and a set of cream cheese recipe cards and and a tin full for me.:thumbsup2 There is 2 sleep masks and the special offer from Aerobed (30% off a selection of their products) and a bunch of coupons.

Seriously, everybody should try to do the parties....I've gotten in on half that I've tried for and there are some I just can't try to do.

So cool! I actually checked out the site ... I am ALWAYS up for an excuse to have people over (hostess issues ). From what I could tell, there is only one available to host right now and it didn't interest me. Thanks for the info about the site, though!

You don't Black Friday shop, huh? I didn't go, but my mom did... I heard it was pretty rough for a non-BF sale! It was a really great deal, though!

Elin -- November 13-14, 2009, what are you doing? :rotfl:

JJ's had their first International Wine Festival last month, and it looks like it was a ton of fun! I guarantee it's no Disney F&WF (clearly) but there were 80 vendors, lots of food vendors, and - by their own admission - it was just "thrown together". They also had samples from their international cheese department, they moved the "olive bar" in (no thank you), etc. I imagine next year, with 13 months to plan, will be pretty cool! :thumbsup2

Good morning, DDA! Amazing the difference a shower and a cup of coffee can make in ones morning. :cloud9:

Not sure what's on tap for today. Terra has a birthday party to go to at 4 and we're going to a friend's house tonight for awhile. We may be hitting one of the craft fairs in a little while, but I've got to find out about that.

Hope everyone has a great day!

The ones who are moving out are the ones that had the 2 yappy dogs when they moved in. One of the dogs died, but they still have the other one. They let the dog poop all over the balcony, and they only clean the balcony about twice a month. :scared: I am sure the couple below them will be glad to see them go, unless they are replaced by someone worse.
There is SUPPOSED to be a ban on pets over 35 lbs. (an no more than one pet per apt.) so I don't think anyone with 2 labs could get away with it. I must say I have seen some pretty large dogs out on leashes, but none as big as a lab.

At our old apartment our maintenance guy lived next to us. He had a German Shepard that weighed over 100 pounds, but since he was an employee nobody did anything about it. We didn't mind.

Tammi- Wishing Nicholas lots of luck today!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Elizabeth- Happy Belated Anniversary!!

Jennifer- I love the photos! Your girls are so precious. :cloud9: Get used to the 2 of them not cooperating though!!!! :goodvibes

I've been reading along but this GS drama is taking up a ton of my time and energy. Not to mention that fact that I am still painting. :scared1: The shower is at 2 tomorrow. I need to finish it soon, ya think? :rotfl: It really is almost done but I didn't paint Wednesday night or Thursday at all. That lack of motivation hit here too.

Did I tell you my sister has her induction scheduled for the night of the 18th. I am taking her to the hospital and staying with her. I am so excited. Oh and I think she has finally settled on a name for Baby Buzz. Her first choice was Ransom, it's a family surname on my dad's side. I love it but my dad vetoed it as it's his brother's middle name (and he doesn't particularly want his grandson named after his brother who he really doesn't like!. He tolerates him but they just are so very different.) Her next choice was Demetrius. ACK, we are not Greek. And I don't think it went well with our last name Paul. Thankfully, she decided against it as she has heard it everywhere. She came to me the other day with 3 more choices- Brandon, Brendan and Braden. I vetoed Braden- just too many -aden variations out there. Out of the 2 left her and I decided that Brendan sounded the best with her middle name choice. So as of now, his name will be Brendan Andrew Paul. She absolutely cracks me up though as her name choices are so polar opposite. She is all over the place between more normal names and unique names.

I need to put Lucy down for a nap so I can get back to painting. Have a great Saturday.
