It's been in the 80s here, but that was inside :scared: We have every window open and it is comfortable now.

What,?! You've been on the community boards...why I never...:rotfl: :rotfl:

There did that help? ;)

It's 74 inside here right now which is a little too warm, but I know that once it gets cold, I'll wish we could get it over 60 in here.

Thanks! :rotfl: I just seem to frustrate myself with the stuff that I read over there.

well we decided not to go next year. hopefully they will have a great deal in 2010. Trying to decide where to go in state next year.

Came home and the House Party box was here waiting for us:cool1: There was 5 CD's...depending on who comes is who gets em (other than Amy Grant...that one is mine:goodvibes ). Turns out who I thought was a singer is actually a catalog company for Cd's:lmao: Tara Leigh. There is a cd sampler for everybody and a set of cream cheese recipe cards and and a tin full for me.:thumbsup2 There is 2 sleep masks and the special offer from Aerobed (30% off a selection of their products) and a bunch of coupons.

Seriously, everybody should try to do the parties....I've gotten in on half that I've tried for and there are some I just can't try to do.

the pork chop/stuffing was a huge hit!! Thanks for the recipe:goodvibes

Over, here is the recipe :)

PORK CHOPS IN THE CROCK POT

6 Pork Chops
1 Dry Box of Stuffing Mix (StoveTop)
1 Medium Onion sliced (1/2 cup)
1 Can Condensed Cream of Celery Soup (10-3/4 oz)
1/4 Cup Water
Pepper to taste

Wash and place your pork chops in the Crock
Cover with the dry stuffing mix (along with the herb packet)
Next add the Onions
Condensed Soup (directly from the can)
1/4 Cup Water

Cover and cook all day (7-8 hours) LOW
OR 1/2 day (3-4 hours) HIGH

I also just used a sprinkle of diced onions instead of what was suggested.

here it is Jennifer!! I used stuffing for pork, cream of mushroom soup (Janet used celery) and no onions.

Next time I probably won't do too much water, if any, as it was really liquidy.

Princess has been very naughty this week. This morning Momboss told me not to let her watch TV if she is naughty. OK, no problem.

She just got up from her nap and on top of being naughty earlier she said "Give me water!" in a really rude, nasty tone. No TV for her!

She just spent the last few minutes arranging her toys (Elmo, Bunnie, Mickey, etc.) on the couch. Then she said "I want to watch my show." I said "Have you been good today?" She stood there for a good long minute, then she said "THEY have been good today (gesture towards the toys), but I haven't. They want to watch my show." This child. :sad2: She is scary smart.

I told her "Well, you will have to explain to them that since you have been naughty today that we are not going to watch your show."
Brilliant!

And yay for no daytime retainer!

Dinner is done and cleaned. We've watched our movie. Soon it will be bedtime. Nicholas has a playoff game tomorrow. Half of me won't be upset if they lose (I'm ready for it to be over) and the other half wants to see them advance. Either way I guess I'll be happy. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Hmmm, wonder why? Mine had no liquid at all. I did mix the 1/4 cup of water with the soup before I poured it over the stuffing, maybe that makes a difference.

Also Jennifer I think boneless pork chops would work better :thumbsup2

ETA: Glad you liked it Theresa, I got the recipe from one of the crockpot threads.

Well, either way I hope Nicholas has a terrific time tomorrow! :)

thanks Theresa
I wonder if it would work well for chicken.

So I was looking around on google and Houston has a Citypass. 6 tickets to various sights around town for 34.00 for adults and 24.00 for kids. one of the things is NASA. thinking of doing that and a baseball game.

Do you have to try to sell products or do you just have the party and hand out coupons? I had selling things.

Well, we just got back from dinner. We took the kids out to celebrate Jacob's birthday tomorrow. He's going hunting with Alan in the morning, and in the afternoon will have a party with 6 friends. Alan will take them to the dollar theater to see Kung Fu Panda. I'm staying home with my feet up.

I'll get up early, wrap his presents and go to the store to pick up his cake. Then the girls and I will spend the day watching movies and relaxing while the boys play.

For now, I'm heading to bed. Good night, everyone!

Thanks, Elin! That's the one pose of which we bought larger than a 3x5 or wallet sheet (and obviously the one I chose for a new signature, as well!) :)

And I love the new signature!
