It was in the mid-70s here. Felt like summer.

It was gorgeous! And downtown was packed and hopping tonight too!

Looks like we will be nearer our normal average highs for the rest of the week. But at least there is no rain in the forecast for Sunday's festivities!

Tammi - let me know if you and Alyssa want to get together tomorrow, OK? I have a few errands to run and some things to do at the studio, but I am certainly free most of the day!

If you could find a starter pack, that would be great. I've picked him up a travel arena, and a wrist launcher, so all he needs is the starter pack. Does that make sense?

All it said about APR was 'low competitive interest'. Which doesn't matter to me because I don't carry a balance. Yes, the $350 sounds bad at first, but the way it was written was that after you pay your 350 annual fee, you get 300 pts, which translates to $300 when you cash them in. So really the fee is only $50, which washes when you get 4% per $100, per month, when you buy groceries, gas, utilities, etc. on the card. So if I go to the store and spend $100, I get 4 points, which eventually equals $4. I easily rack up 20 pts. per month so for me this would be a great deal. Especially if they throw in the buy one airline ticket get a second free.

I got that postcard and did the survey as well. I was pretty interested in some of the options, too.

I forgot to tell you all.... one bright spot last week was that I was accepted as a host to the Pre-Holiday House party...so I get to have a party next Saturday. I am going to put up my little tree with an animal theme (thanks Elin!! ) and have a really, truly legitimate reason to start listening to Christmas music 24/7. I also get to bake goodies.

It sounds like an amazing party pack that is coming to me this week.

I forgot to tell you all about a conversation that the kids and I had last night as we were drivng to football practice. My little man is getting quite knowledgable about government with all this election crap. As we passed a taxicab:

ALYSSA: Is that a taxi?
ME: Yes, that is a taxi.
NICHOLAS, in his I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT voice: Our new President Obama wants to raise taxis.

This is when I almost ran off the road from laughing.

I am at my cousin's house we are having a yard sale. My Grandma move out of state to live with my aunt so we have stuff of hers and a bunch of baby things that we are trying to sale. The sale is today and tomorrow. Pixie dust that we sell all of it. So I don't have to try to store it.

It was cool and sunny here today. Momboss told me she turned the heat on last night but if it got hot to flip it back to A/C. When we got back from shopping it was ROASTING in here!

Thanks for all of the anniversary wishes! DH got his schedule and he is off Sunday, so we can actually stay and enjoy the party tomorrow without worrying about him getting enough sleep before his next shift. If I could figure out what to wear I wold be excited!

DS went to the orthodontist yesterday and was granted permission to switch to retainers only at night! He is VERY excited!

Have fun at the party! I hope if they have prizes again this year that your DH wins something.

Dinner is done and cleaned. We've watched our movie. Soon it will be bedtime. Nicholas has a playoff game tomorrow. Half of me won't be upset if they lose (I'm ready for it to be over) and the other half wants to see them advance. Either way I guess I'll be happy.

I understand that feeling! I hope he has fun and plays well.

I FINALLY get myself motivated enough to take down Halloween. Now I need to do a lot of clean-out before we start decorating for Christmas. Do I sound like a broken record about clean-out? I do clean out, but I swear things multiply.

Jake's soccer game was changed from tomorrow to Tuesday night, thus prolonging our season even more. Now they are saying we could have rain Monday - Wednesday, so it might be even longer. At least I might be able to get some errands run after baseball lessons and haircuts. That is if I decide to drive in to Dallas. One good thing -- gas is so much cheaper now than a few months ago. Good night everyone.

Well, we just got back from dinner. We took the kids out to celebrate Jacob's birthday tomorrow. He's going hunting with Alan in the morning, and in the afternoon will have a party with 6 friends. Alan will take them to the dollar theater to see Kung Fu Panda. I'm staying home with my feet up.

I'll get up early, wrap his presents and go to the store to pick up his cake. Then the girls and I will spend the day watching movies and relaxing while the boys play.

Princess has been very naughty this week. This morning Momboss told me not to let her watch TV if she is naughty. OK, no problem.

She just got up from her nap and on top of being naughty earlier she said "Give me water!" in a really rude, nasty tone. No TV for her!

She just spent the last few minutes arranging her toys (Elmo, Bunnie, Mickey, etc.) on the couch. Then she said "I want to watch my show." I said "Have you been good today?" She stood there for a good long minute, then she said "THEY have been good today (gesture towards the toys), but I haven't. They want to watch my show." This child. She is scary smart.

I told her "Well, you will have to explain to them that since you have been naughty today that we are not going to watch your show."

Too too smart sometimes!

Hmmm, wonder why? Mine had no liquid at all. I did mix the 1/4 cup of water with the soup before I poured it over the stuffing, maybe that makes a difference.

Also Jennifer I think boneless pork chops would work better
