Well I had an aunt that used a cast iron frying pan on her DH. :rolleyes1 But that may just as well kill him, so how about a very thick newspaper.

You want I should smack him with my hand, or you want I should smack him with something else?

Jennifer I wouldn't know about breaking down the schools in my area, but they all have just one mascot... we are the bears.

Janet so sweet, I would want to take her home too. :goodvibes

And JJ's is a REALLY cool store. There are really not enough words to describe some of it's characteristics, but one thing is for sure -- you can find more international and hard-to-find foods than WDW could ever dream of serving.... and hundreds of wines, beers, etc. It's fabulous!

Oh do they sell Apricot wine? I still can't find it around here :sad2:

We just got Baskin Robbins back in the state of Colorado and they are stand alone. Sorry you are getting the second language run around.

Our Baskin Robbins closed & some generic place opened up selling basically the same thing.

Vicki glad to hear all went well last night, for all today.

Glynis I am sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Know that I am thinking of you & your family

Glynis wasn't kidding when she said her mom was going downhill fast:

Theresa,

My mother passed away tonight at about 8:00 p.m. My brother and father were with her at the end, and said that she was very peaceful. I'm leaving first thing in the morning with my sister to help make arrangements for the viewing and funeral. I'd be grateful if you could pass this information along to the DDA for me.

Glynis
O wow, i am so sorry tgo hear this..glynis, please know you are in my prayers
Vicki - Lots of hugs for you, Chuck, and the girls. How is Chuck's mom doing?
Vicki-Im saying prayers for you guys too
Kyle passed his Step 3, with a wonderful score no less! :yay: :cool1:
WOOHOO!

Ok, now that the baseball game is over I have got to get to bed! I was going to bed early tonight, since I didn't get any sleep last night!

Goodnight!
I stayed up til the 5th inning and crashed..the first thing i did was check who won this mornign!!

Bob brought Kristin to dinner tonight following my rehearsal. He was just not himself and he left early. When I got home 30 minutes later he had already gone to bed. In the kitchen I found another letter from the CEO of his company. In addition to the 4 facilities they closed last week, today they let 28 corporate people go. Again it does not affect him directly, but will touch people he knows and cares about. This is all getting very scary.
O no!

Morning all! This is my longest day this week..teaching il 1, then ill stay and do lesson plans, sub plans ,set up for next week, etc. I have 2 days of meetings next week so i have to do sub plans..So ill probably stay at school a few hours, go grab dinner, and go back for conferences 7-9...SO glad this week is almost over!

Good morning :)

I am sending a big group hug to the DDA today :grouphug:

Bernadette, thanks for the little history lesson on ice wine. :) Unfourtantly I have tried many a wine and just can't stand the stuff. :crazy2:
However give me a mixed drink and all is good, especially Long Island Iced Tea (yummy).

Glynis I am so sorry, you're in my thoughts. :grouphug:

I bet I could wallop him good with the bag of newspapers for recycling if I could get a few practice swings in first to build velocity.

Oh, no! I missed this post last night! When Kristine quoted it I thought she was quoting the one from earlier in the day.
Glynis, I am so sorry! I know you will miss you mom tremendously. :sad1:

Our Baskin Robbins closed & some generic place opened up selling basically the same thing.

That happened to our Dunkin' Donuts a long time ago. I think the guy just got tired of paying the franchise fees! :rotfl2:

I am furious at DS and DH. I fell asleep on the couch and didn't wake up until 5 AM. I moved to the bedroom to try to get at least 2 more hours of rest. DH got in the shower about 6 AM, and at 6:30 he was walking down the hallway and DS jumped out and scared him. So DH is shrieking, DS is laughing, they are making enough noise to wake the dead. I got up because I was afraid the neighbors would call the police. I HATE HATE HATE that they jump out and scare each other. And stupid DH doesn't bother to turn the light on when he walks down the hall so it is perfect for DS to scare him. :headache: Then DH tells me "It is time for you to get up anyway." Really? He was in bed asleep before 8 PM and slept until almost 6 AM. I was up designing a brochure. Yet he gets to decide when it is time for ME to get up? What a lovely double standard he has! I will have to think of some revenge.
