Please, please could I ask for your prayers or good thoughts or whatever it is that you do. A coworker of mine, and very close friend, has been involved in a tragic incident and it's not looking good right now. I can't say more because nothing yet has been released to the media.

I know I've posted the same sentiments before, but I'm literally so overwhelmed and amazed tonight/today that I can't sleep. Thanks for being a part of all of it!

Those of you interested in Segways, I have a mini-review of our experience at the Cincinnati "tour" on the blog. It was a TON of fun!

Marci - When I left to take DS to school it wasn't cool outside at all. When I left to take Princess to school just over an hour later it was definitely cooler. While she was eating breakfast it was sprinkling a little. It's going to be a weird weather day.

I forgot most of what I needed at home this morning, so I came back to get everything. Forgot the overdue library books, forgot the coupon for Borders so I can buy the book DS needs for Language Arts, forgot to charge my phone. It is pretty obvious where DS gets his dingbat tendencies.

My prediction that my pants will not fit has turned out to be spot on. Now I have to decide if I am going to go around in jeans that fit like a wetsuit while I try to lose weight, or go buy bigger jeans.

The police officer was calling to tell me that she was going to talk to Cassidy about an alleged assault at the HS on one of her friends. Still makes my heart race.

it allegedly happened last month...which would explain why the young lady was over at our house every day for nearly a week. This is the young lady who knows that our house is open any time for her. I ended up giving as much information as I knew about the family. The young lady is a recovering (I hope) cutter. Her mother thinks my daughter is a bad influence....I told the officer that while I know my kid isn't perfect she isn't a bad influence.
