I have photopass pictures too but I'm waiting for Jennifer or Tia to share the site. We did the photopass session too - my hair is a disaster - I swear it was done when I left the room and it hit the humidity and POOF!

Your wedding pictures are beautiful. It looks like you had the perfect day. Were the leaves still on the trees I know you were worried about that.


So how was the weather in the Bahamas? Anything we should know as we head out on Saturday? Can we walk to stores etc from port in Freeport and Nassau? I'm excited that we are going and excited to have you back.

Weather was great! It rained right before we left but the cruise director blamed it on the fact that the other ships where still in the harbor (it stopped when RCCL and CCL left port.) At Nassau you can walk to shops. My suggestion is to start with the stores and then head over to the straw market so you can compare prices.

Leaves were still there! But they weren't that colorful. I really have to go through the wedding pictures this weekend. I'd love to see them bigger than what they seem on the site.

Karen is in Houston which is about 5 hours from here (I think).
I am not sure exactly where Jennifer's town is, so not sure how long that drive is.

I am about 30 minutes west of Austin. It is about a 5 hr drive to Arlington from here.

Thanks for the info on the cake. I doubt Nicholas would want strawberries in his cake, but the whipped cream frosting is good info. I need to decide what kind of decoration to have it done in. Maybe I'll go with the marble. Or maybe I'll just copy your whole idea. It will be for all 9 of us, not just him. And whatever I get, he will scrape the frosting off, eat a few bites of the cake and that will be that. He is NOT a big sweet eater. He doesn't come by that naturally!

DS doesn't like cake. Once in awhile he will eat a cookie or some candy but he really prefers plain vanilla ice cream.

Bill discovered the maid's closet......he supplied 6 rooms on our floor who were short on various stuff....one guy wanted to tip him

Now see, if I did that I would get caught and they would charge me for all the stuff. Good thing I booked concierge for next time.

I feel that way today. I went to parent conferences looking like the bride of Charles Manson. I am way overdue for a haircut, but my precious Landon still hasn't made the move back to Dallas like he said he was going to so scheduling has been a challenge. I DO have an appointment with him tomorrow.
