I'm over in Ft. Worth at a HR conference. It's cooler here in Texas now -- I like that. I've had great sea bass and two glasses of wine. I'm not about to spoil my good evening by listening to those two debate. I think I'll start reading my book. Have a good evening everyone!

Thank you so much for all your prayers and pixie dust for my friend. I know she's going through a plethora of emotions right now, and honestly, I'm pretty shaken up, too. My grandmother was hit by a drunk driver when she was out for a walk in broad daylight about ten years ago. She was very lucky to survive. What is wrong with people?!!

I'm headed to bed. I'm still not feeling 100%, so I'm trying to grab a little more sleep when I can.

You know after all these years posting together, I'm still not one to hash out trip planning details. Nor do I ever manage to write a trip report or post pictures. Perhaps when I stop reproducing babies who don't sleep!

AirTran has round-trip airfare to Orlando for $219 until December 17. It's a shame we aren't going. And if we were going I wouldn't still be waiting on airfare!

It is nice...I was espescially worried because she has the same science teacher as last year (the one she never turned homework in for last semester). All of them said she was a joy to have in class. I also feel better about her english teacher....he hasn't taught english in 5 years and hasn't ever taught honors. We discussed "proper" titles for a kid who can read at a college level but covers her eyes at kissing scenes in movies.

Congratulations to Abi on her wonderful grades!
