Hi Elin! Tell us all about it, along with pictures. Jennifer won't tell us about her trip. At least she hasn't yet. And she's been back for a few days. ;)

BTW Jennifer, I hope you and the kids get better.

Safe travles Robyn.

Welcome home, Elin! I hope you and Bob had a magical trip! :)

We did! And, eventually I will be able to tell you all about it. But for now, here is a picture that CA Grill took of us Saturday evening during our dinner there. They were delighted to have us celebrate with them and came to our window table just after Wishes and took this to email to us.

Elin - that is a wonderful picture of the 2 of you. :goodvibes:

I know Robyn is leaving (tomorrow, right??) so I hope she has fun with Joe and our Texas friends!!!

I will get going on letting you see and hear all about our trip. I had no internet access when I got home and after 2.5 hours this morning I finally had access on my desktop. I now have finally been able to set up my network again so I can spend some time tomorrow doing photo uploads and some info from the trip.

With the exception of our flights the trip was absolutely delightful. From the room to the meals and the weather, to the CMs who were so friendly and happy, we really had fun!

I was able see Kristine and Bill very briefly at Epcot, but never made it to the MK to meet with Tia and Jennifer because we didn't get out of CA Grill until after 11:00 that night. :(

Which Jennifer and girls are sick??

It appears I have 60 pages or so to catch up on! Luckily Chanon gave me a Cliff Notes email update earlier today so I might be good to go for a while.

My mom called me today to let me know her chemo went OK. They reduced the amount of Benedryl (which apparently was making her legs ache) and they eliminated the Ativan (which I think was completely unnecessary, but I guess they added it thinking the episode where she couldn't breathe was an anxiety attack) so she was feeling much better after today's infusion. 3 down, 9 to go. She isn't quite sure what they will do next week. They might give her another Taxol infusion, or they might give her a Neulasta injection and have her take a week off from chemo so she doesn't get too run down.

DH is doing OK so far. He just finished his 2nd liter of solution, now he is supposed to drink 32 oz. of water before bed. Not that he will be able to sleep, because he will be on the potty all night!

I took DS to Chick-Fil-A for dinner so we wouldn't be eating in front of DH.

Poor DS is really sad. He feels like he is in trouble and being singled out for being who he is. Like he is a bad person and he is somehow deficient because he is not as mature as some of the other boys. I hope the discussion today was enough to get him moving in the right direction, but I know for a fact that there are plenty of times that I tell him to settle down and STOP being so silly and he doesn't stop.

Elin - Yay for a wonderful trip! I think your photo is very nice! :goodvibes

Jennifer (bear) is not feeling well, and Olivia and Virginia are still trying to shake off the virus they caught at WDW.

I hope DH's procedure goes well tomorrow. for DS. I hope he gets through this and starts having a better year.

Elizabeth - I am glad to hear that your Mom seems to be tolerating her treatments fairly well. I also know your DH has his colonoscopy tomorrow: good luck to him. Not sure what is going on with your DS, but I know I will soon know as I try to catch up.

Jennifer, Olivia and Virginia.

Thanks, Elizabeth!

And I cannot believe that poor Jennifer and the girls got sick on their trip. :sad2:

Thanks! I hope the procedure goes well, too. DH has a 10x greater chance of colon cancer because of the colitis, so they like to keep an eye on him.
The kicker about DS is that we had NO IDEA he was getting in trouble!

DS is just immature, doesn't follow directions, and has a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

So my cat was cuddling with me today. She got spooked for some reason and now I have a lovely 5 inch scratch on my neck. :headache: Just in time! Anyone have any other suggestions besides bactine and ointment?

Oh, no! I hope it is healing nicely!!

I gained them for you! Aren't I a great friend?!?! :rotfl2:

I would say you were the BEST friend to do that for Amy!

I got on the scale this morning and was fearful. We ate and drank VERY well on our trip, but I only had 2 pounds to show for it. Hope no more shows up in the next couple of days!

Leighanna got her first "love letter" from a boy in her class today.

She says that she really "loves" him too.

Of course this is the one boy in the class that is in constant trouble.

I think she has a thing for bad boys.:cool2: :scared: :sad2:

Most girls do, Tom. ;)

Elin what a great picture, look forward to reading & seeing more!

Bernadette  for Emma. Glad work went better than you had expected today!

Jennifer I hope the meds work quickly!

Robyn have a safe trip!

Elizabeth I went through this with Riley & I was getting calls almost everyday. I was so stressed & at my wits end. I'm sure this will not work for you, but I switched Riley's school so he would be separated from the friends that he always got in trouble with. Worked like a charm & I am so glad I made the decision to do this. Now that he is in Junior High, he does see some of these boys again, but they do not have classes together & so far no problems. Good luck to you & your ds :wizard:
