LOVE this picture! So sweet.

BTW, did you and Elin really have to start TRs at the exact same time. I'm getting confused! :upsidedow

Elizabeth - I am glad your DH's procedure went so well!! And also glad your son was not waiting at home for you when you returned... ;)
YAY for a great procedure and no suspension. :cool1:

OMG I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!

I'm signing off ladies (and Tom and Chris) so keep the boards going for me when I'm gone! ;)

Love you guys bunches and I'll be thinking of you all!!!

I will be thinking of you tomorrow, I hope it is all you dreamed of & more :goodvibes

Our agent & appraiser came today. We got a very good impression from the meeting & the walk thru. We should hear in a few days...Our house should be on the market next week.

Things are moving along quickly!

Let's see how well I can do without taking notes,

Welcome home Elin!

Good luck with selling the house Anne Marie

Congrats on the great report card Marci, and yes you will cry when he graduates.

Welcome home Tia! Can't wait to hear about your trip also.

Jennifer - Feel better soon, sorry the girls were ill during your trip. You got some great pictures though.

Have a great trip Robyn, we'll be waiting for pictures.

Loved your pictures Theresa and Glynis, glad you had a good time. I've found that meeting DDA members is just like meeting old friends.

Hope you and John are feeliing better soon Heidi

Steffy - you and Terry will have a wonderful trip, with or without the laptop.

Tammi - what are Nicholas's favorite restaurants in Disney. We've booked a trip in May to take Brandon, we won't be doing the dining plan but I do want to book a couple of meals that he will enjoy. He had a great time at Chef Mickey's and I think he would get a kick out of lunch at Sci Fi.

Elizabeth - glad DH's test came back good. I don't have any good advice about the DS situation, but I did want to say that I found him quite charming.

I'd like to ask for a little PD this way, I find myself in a funk and I can't seem to pull myself out of it. Our ME tags arriving today did help some but it didn't last long.

The good news is that's DH's scope went really, really well! :thumbsup2 His bowel looks completely normal and healthy, which boggles my mind. I didn't know the damage was reversible - I thought they were just tracking the progress of the disease. We got some lovely pics and I am just astonished by the difference. The medication he is on now must be just incredibly effective. So they did a few biopsies just to make sure there aren't any pre-cancerous cells and DH is supposed to go in for an office visit in a few weeks to talk about his treatment plan going forward. He has to have another scope in 3 years.

Wonderful news Elizabeth!

Debbie-you've got as much PD as you need...hopefully the funk will pass quick!

:wizard: :wizard: that you get out of your funk.

Ok, do you want restaurants where he likes to eat or restaurants where he likes the atmosphere?

Right off the bat he said Cape May Cafe, Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare, Sci-Fi. Biergarten was a big hit. We got up and danced while the OomPah band played. He likes the food at Mama Melrose. Both my kids really enjoyed Hoop Dee Doo. There's lots of audience interaction and before dessert they bring out washboards that the kids (and adults) get to play on. They also had fun doing the activities at Whispering Canyon. He liked Coral Reef, watching the fish swim. They did not like H&V. Hope this helps. If you want more details, let me know.

Glynis - hope Alan starts to feel better soon.

Jennifer - It sounds like you all made some wonderful new memories. I have never seen Mickey in World Showcase.

Thanks, Bernadette. We are glad we went back. They restored our faith in them. But it was not our best dinner of the trip.
Loving your TR!!! I guess I have to wait to hear which was your favorite. I've only gone really early for dinner. I thought it would be better to go early before Joe or Emma got tired and cranky. I've always had good/friendly service.

I am so sorry Emma is having a hard time making friends at school. Abi (up until 2 years ago) had such a hard time finding friends that it was about this time every year we would combat the "I wish I wasn't alive", "Nobody would miss me" (Good golly...it makes me cry just thinking about it). Nobody believed us that it wasn't because she wasn't happy with herself (she was...she just dispaired over nobody seemingly liking her).
Wow! I guess you understand exactly. I was annoyed that her teacher suggested I get her a book so she'd feel "comfortable" with herself. That isn't her problem! She's still enjoys going to school so that is great. Poor Abi and Mom!

I need to pick up my Z-pack when the pharmacy opens. Went for blood work this morning and had him check my throat and ears because they just starting bothering me. He said I am just starting.
Hope it kicks in quick for you.

Bear with me while I brag...

More than seven years after we learned our bright child has significant learning problems, (ADHD, dyslexia, verbal expressive disorder) we got his first report card...

And he got nothing below a 94!

I cried when the e-mail came in, I guess with relief that we made the right decision for him. I know my Mom must have an extra big smile right about now as well, as she took a big part in Andrew's schooling, grandparents day, picking him up, meeting his teachers. I guess that's another reason I'm so emotional. I also know this is only the beginning of what will be difficult years leading up to high school graduation, but I'm thankful that he's doing well now.

I can't imagine what I'll be like when he graduates...
:woohoo: WTG Andrew!!! You should be proud!

(I know I could ask our resident TA on here this question, but I am hoping she is off doing something trivial like enjoying her next few days of partying!)

That being said... I have two packages booked for our December trip, as well as a room only reservation for one night. One of the packages is an AP one with DDP (for Bob and me) and the other is a MYW package with dining (for the girls). Can packages be converted to room only reservations or do you have to cancel the package and book the "rooms only" separately?

After seeing how much we cannot eat any more Bob and I are seriously thinking that with the Club lounge and our normal meals (using DDE/TiW) we will not need all those food credits!
I'm pretty sure you're going to have to cancel your package and book a new room only.

I thought it was an ingenious offering!

The top half of the reloadable gift card snaps off to leave a small card on a strap!

That is cool!

Great photos! Love the one of Virginia with Donald at AK, the one of Olivia & Terra holding hands, and the one of Virginia asleep in the stroller with Mickey. Sorry the girls were sick. We had a trip with the kids vommitting. It wasn't fun at all.

 Have a very magical day!!!

Seems like just yesterday that receipt for the ring was in the mail.

:wizard: Hope it all goes smoothly!

The good news is that's DH's scope went really, really well!
Great news!

I survived my first installment of my Junior Achievement class.
The kids really seemed to enjoy it.
Only four more to go.
I bet Leighanna LOVED it!!!!! DH taught Lizzy's class some plant science. He went to Lizzy's open house but didn't sign up for anything so I went to Joe & Emma's open house and signed him up for both classes. He worries he won't be perfect but he'll be great once he gets there!

Bernadette - I'm sorry that Emma is struggling to fit in. I hope she finds that right friend soon. :wizard:
Thanks! I hope so too.

I'm going to try and get to my pictures and trip report this weekend. I haven't even uploaded the pictures yet.

If the poor thing doesn't collapse before the end of the year it may be a miracle. On top of working 3 days a week at Mother's Day Out and class, she's started her internship for her counselling Master's which is about 8 hours a week, plus time to type the case notes from the sessions. On top of that, it looks like the giant cell tumor in her arm is back yet again. We thought it was gone for good after her surgery 18 months ago because they ended up putting in cadaver bone. But, her arm looks just like it did before that surgery and she's in big pain again. Insurance doesn't kick in until Nov 1 so she's got an appt right after that and the dr already has her listed (at least in his mind due to prexisiting issues) on his surgery schedule for later in Nov.
I am still fighting with my Mac. I bought 2 250GB hard drives for back ups for my photos. I bought the latest version of iLife but want to back up some of the 24,000 photos I have on my Mac before I add the new software. Then I can put those photos in different libraries so I'm not trying to open them all up when I open iPhoto. It is slow going!

I haven't even uploaded all my August photos onto my Mac yet. I got my photopass CDs in the mail this week but I need to finish my clean up first.

Prayers for your sister-the poor thing!:wizard:

   I know how you feel.

Jennifer loved your TR, sounds like you all had a great time(besides the little ones getting sick)!

Glynis I hope Alan feels better soon :wizard:

Debbie hope your funk lifts soon :wizard:

Elin great start to your TR!

:wizard: & to anyone I missed!

Thanks for the PD, now we'll see if I can put it to good use.

We get to take another peek at the baby Monday, we'll see if he/ or she decides to cooperate. Here's the latest afghan, can you tell I'm hopeing for a Princess?

Speaking of Princesses, I loved this one of the Three Red Headed Princesses Jennifer,
