I've signed up for Webshots because I can download their program to my desktop and upload photos right to the site. I believe there is an RSS feed or linked to Facebook if anyone wants it.

...and I didn't answer Tammi's questions! I'm ready for everything to be done with. Well, I should say I'm ready for Friday to be here so I can start relaxing. I got mom to come up tonight instead of last night, but she's getting her nails done and won't want to do much around the house. (Makes no sense...you offered to help around the house and your getting your nails done now?!) I think I got Bob convinced to go get a manicure with me...not sure about the pedicure or not.

On a good note, I have my suitcase out. I'm taking my old one as my red Disney one, the wheels came off. This is an economy trip, so no new luggage for me. I do not think I'm going to take any pins to trade. We are doing the DeluxeDDP, so my food budget is set. No matching t shirts. No postcards. No commando touring plans. Probably very few late nights. Definetly no park opening to fireworks days. (will someone give Elizabeth mouth-to-mouth as you all know she's reading!) I figure I'll take my ears and then leave them in my owners locker.

I don't want to take my laptop. I'm hoping all I'll need is my IPhone. We really need to RELAX. We need to return refreshed. This is my friend's first vacation in 4 years. I don't want her to even be tempted by a computer where she could log in to work... I just need to remember my little AC adapter so I can plug my phone into the wall outlet. The only shoes I'm taking are Crocs.

I can do this. I can do this. Okay DDA, tell me I'll be okay!!!!!

Seriously, Elizabeth, they are gonna saunter around.

You will be so proud of Stephanie and I for our December trip. I have charts for our Cabin Door display. We have a spread sheet for every day and every hour that we will be on that trip. Mouse Fest has something going on every day that we want to attend.!!!!!

I have a complete wardrobe for Chuckie. We just need to come up with a few t-shirt designs and we are set.

66 days to go!!!!!

Are all cruiseship doors metal? I'm thinking of make a magnetic door sign for each of our cabins. I think it will be easier for the kids to find the room

I haven't talked with Mom since Saturday. Diva e-mailed me Sunday night and said the neighbors were a little bit better. I have not heard from the property manager.
Diva is just SURE they are going to move when their lease is up, but the fact of the matter is that Mom will barely be finished with radiation AND her finances will be worse than they are now because her "year" starts over tomorrow for her health insurance. (For whatever reason her deductibles don't run Jan - Dec.)
I can not imagine that Mom will feel like moving since she HATES to move, and I can not imagine where they would go that would be any better! Mom refuses to live anywhere with stairs even though I think an upper floor would be safer and quieter, she can't afford any of the duplexes or houses for rent, she won't qualify to buy anything (and couldn't afford anything in a good neighborhood anyway). Since Mom apparently believes that Diva shouldn't have to pay a cent for anything until she has graduated from a 4-year college I think they are staying right where they are.
Perhaps I should point out to Diva that they could live somewhere MUCH nicer if Mom wasn't paying for that car AND car insurance. DH and I ballparked Mom's monthly costs at over $500 for that stupid car.


Ad now totally off topic, have you guys seen that doll that grows TEETH? OMG! That is SCARY! EEEEK! The commercial was just on. I am officially freaked out! I HATE dolls with teeth!

On Disney they are so I would think they would be that on any cruise ship.

Elizabeth, some of the cities already have things available. Others don't go up until tomorrow. I know that ours was available now, but when I checked a few other cities there were some not available yet and others sold out. Good luck with yours!

I think I may dig out a couple of suitcase and try to put a few things in them. I really should be able to completely pack since it is too cold here to wear any of our summer stuff anymore. Do you think I'll need anything but summer clothes at Vero or in the Bahamas? I'm hoping for summer weather, but I guess I don't really have a clue.

I forgot to mention that a little girl in Colby's class told him that she wants to marry him He told everyone about it last night, but he says he is too young to get married He is also telling everyone that he is going on vacation in the Hobamas

We are going to Vero Beach for 2 nights starting Oct 18, then driving to Miami and taking a 4 night NCL cruise to the Bahamas on Oct 20. We will be visiting Grand Bahama Island, Nassau and NCLs private Island, Great Stirrup Cay. We are very excited and a bit stressed. I never book anything last minute and am an obsessive planner. Having only 3 weeks to pull it all together is a bit complicated. Thankfully we have pretty much everything on hand from our summer vacation and the cruise is freestyle so no formal night

I did pick up some snorkel gear. I was in Kmart and they had a few sets left for 50% off the clearance price. At over 75% off I couldn't resist. Now the boys, Chris included will have something to do at the beaches. I even picked up a floated chair that folds up neatly into a little bag for myself.

That sounds great! And a cruise sounds like just the thing for a last minute trip. There doesn't have to be a lot of planning involved if you just want to hang out.

The price was right and that is what hooked us. I don't think we will do any excursions per se. I think we will just explore the area around the ship on foot. Maybe the straw market if we can walk to it. I really need to pick up a tour guide, but haven't made it to Border's yet.

Thanks Tia. The memorial service I am attending this weekend is for my uncle that passed away back in August. Since he lived in Wisconsin but spent most of his adult life in Massachusetts my cousins are holding another service there.
