I just got home from the store. Chris is all bummed out. It seems that Brady got injured in the first quarter. It is a knee injury in the knee that wasn't bothering him

It's a little rough around the edges, but here's the Indiana Jones Birthday cake, the birthday boy is thrilled with it.

What is that??

I'm assuming it's for art class - I use mine for caligraphy...it's a grey eraser and can be "molded" (aka kneaded) into whatever shape you might need (like a point) and it doesn't leave any eraser pieces everywhere. It also doesn't eat away at the paper your working on..so it's great for art stuff!

Our next trip will be end of July 2010. We were actually just talking about it a few minutes ago. Apparently we are already over the been there done that phase From there we will probably do Hawaii Summer of 2012. The kids are already looking forward to that trip.

ETA: the next time we go Nick will be old enough to babysit a bit for us. We could probably have a little time without kids...maybe. We'll have to see how mature he is

How old will Nick be then? Garrett will be 16 & Riley will be turning 14

Hey! We are going at the end of July 2010, too! Maybe we'll see you there! That could potentially be a 2 week trip for us since DH will have 3 weeks of vacation, but we'll have to wrap it up by Aug. 7 because the APs will expire.

We just went to the ice cream party. It was nice, a lot of people that I didn't know. We stayed and helped clean up. Now I need to throw together a few halloween costumes. Thankfully they all have their own ideas so it should be simple. I haven't decided if I want to put the effort into making the Humpty Dumpty for Chris. Some depends on whether we will be going to the race on Sunday. If we decide to go then we will not want to take anything extra as we will need to pack up ultra early and drop the camper off at home before we leave for the race. I also don't know what to pack for clothes as we will need to get a more accurate weather forecast for the weekend. Right now it looks like the highs will only be in the low 70s.

Anne Marie-I'm forgot to congratulate Dana. Hope your move goes smoothly!

I go back Tuesday. Assuming they get my x-ray results in time. When I had the x-rays, they said it takes 2-3 business days for the Dr. to get results. Not counting Friday 2 days is Tuesday. I think I am going to call Tuesday morning to find out if they have the x-rays, if not I guess I will have to reschedule.

Hope you can keep Tuesday's appointment and you get good news.

Not really. A little overtired. Becky called last night at 12:30am in tears. Her stomach was hurting her worse than it ever had she said. She couldn't sleep (that is 1:30 down there) and she was laying on the floor because she has a top bunk. She said she was twitching and couldn't get the right temperature (she was either too hot or too cold).

It was awful not being able to help her out except to talk with her. She called back about 3 times until 2am my time. I finally was able to help her relax enough so that she could crawl in her bed and at least relax enough to get some rest. She said she fell asleep about 5:00am. I don't think she is eating right. I had a talk with her about it today.

She is meeting a lot of people but she says she doesn't have much in common with them. Unfortunately, she is too much like her mother. I don't have the same sense of humor as most people and seem to have a much more black & white of right & wrong than many and so does she. I reminded her when I dropped her off that she has to remember that there are many shades of grey between our black & white and she has to be tolerant.

I knew it would be hard for her to move away. I'm really proud of her for doing it.

I'm sure it will get easier for her. Seems like you've got a lot going on right now.

Morning everyone..well the nerves are already hitting for school--i cant wait til im a bit more comfortable with everything..im going to try to relax a bit, then finish my work , and not worry the rest of the day. I guess its just still a bit unknown and the nerves are hitting since i go back tomorrow--i love weekends

Don from AKL CL called yesterday while I ran out with Emma to get her a backpack big enough for a folder. DH forgot to tell me. He sent me an email but I hadn't seen it til too late. So I called and spoke to him today-had to give him a credit card. We are all booked for the Sunrise Safari, Jiko, California Grill and CP. I'm very excited. Lizzy asked me today if we were really going in Feb (I had mentioned it a while ago to her). I told her I bought air fare and made reservations for Pop. She wants to go to Music.


Well I came into the office to do some work and have been dising I really have to get some stuff done!

If we go for 2 weeks in 2010 the dates are July 23 to August 8. If we just do one week the dates will be July 30 - August 8.
I would be happy to be in charge of ADRs for DDA group meals and grand gathering events!

This tornado yesterday, was only a few miles from my office.

Elin- That is a Jim Shore pumpkin mickey, but I unfortunately do not own it. I saw it in the Christmas store as I was leaving Downtown Disney, but did not purchase it because I did not have the time.

That's really sad. It must have been bad when you were on your trip, because I remember you saying how close they all were to Chuck.

The kids and my mom are still just as close with Chuck. It is just my sister and Chuck. And yes, they were really close. He was the one that she wanted with her through some of the hardest stuff she has ever had to deal with.
