If you find the wheat, let me know where. That's what's frustrating! You really have to sift through a lot of chaff to find the wheat!

I thought Peter #3 was already out. Wasn't that the Secrets of Rundoon?
I've ordered Kingdom Keeper, but still have to order the J.K. Rowling one. Thanks for the reminder!!!

Maybe he'll come on the 2nd. That is Nicholas' bday.![]()
The Secrets of Rundoon was the third book in the Starcatcher series. The one that just came out, Blood Tide is part of the Neverland series. They are easier books. I am not sure why they chose to basically give them the same name.
Remember that she is a Communications major, and that she has pageant experience. I fully expect her to be articulate and engaging as a speaker because she has had so much training. She also had her speech ahead of time and had practiced it.
DS had homework from 5 different teachers tonight. He is still working on it. The thing is, DH said DS chose to read for about 45 minutes before he completed his other tasks, so I can't really say that the teacher exceeded the 90 minute max. Ugh.

I just have to say thanks for all the comments on my pictures and on my first days of teaching--i appreciate it!
I think you should have set it for the 5th so he shared Walt's day!
Can you PM me the pictures of your room?
I am glad things are going well.
Marci - Apparently DS just got interested in his book and ended up reading longer than he normally would. Of course over the summer he didn't want to read anything. He did finally get everything done, but he said he wished he had taken a booster pill as soon as he got home.
I think you are lucky to be able to get Merrie's opinion on these speeches! Of course yo have been with her long enough that you probably don't really need her input - you can probably come to the same conclusions on your own!![]()
Thanks for all the good thoughts for me & the kids. Katie seemed much better today. Daniel's nose bleed stopped & he fell right asleep. Today was his first day of school & he was very excited.
Dana accepted the offer for NC this morning...we will be moving to the Raleigh area over Christmas break.

Can you all spare a few bits of pixie dust. It looks like Hanna is going to move up the coast near us Friday night into Saturday and from the path they are showing it will hit us from the west. Which is exactly where we don't want it to hit from. It obviously wont' be catastrophic but Isabel in 2003 was a TS and we ended up with 4 feet in the basement from just the storm surge.
He is too adorable!!that he is just fine.
Na -- I just run the business -- I have no idea how to do the training, but I have seen my fair share of great and really bad speakers! One of the most interesting we've had through the office is Cong. Sam Johnson. He was in the "Hanoi Hilton" (prison in Vietnam but that's how they referred to it) with McCain, but was there much longer. Cong. Johnson's wife Shirley is an incredible woman. They were married when he was shot down, and she waited for almost 7 years (I think that's correct) to hear if he was alive or dead. I really enjoyed hearing Cong. Johnson tell stories, and he also had a few tall tales as well!
