Lucy is now sick with a cough and congestion. And last night as Emma, Molly and I were watching The Cheetah Girls movie I could feel myself getting sick. I woke up this morning with a filled head. I can't wait til summer is over!!!

Emma is going to an End of Summer pool party at Allyson's house today. Eric, Mo, Lucy and I will probably just take it easy here or at the very least hit the store for some last minute school supplies and lunch box stuff.

It was so nice to sleep in my own bed last night!

Debbie - I hope Fay takes it easy on you. Stay safe.

Robyn - I'm sorry you and Lucy are sick. I'm just getting over some congestion. It started while we were in Florida. Thankfully it didn't turn into a sinus infection. Feel better.

Today I need to go to the grocery store, do some laundry, and get the 4th HP book from the library. Hopefully we will make it to the pool, since pool time is quickly coming to an end.

Thanks everyone, I don't think Fay will do much more than bring a lot of rain.

We took Brandon out to eat Mexican last night and took along gifts and a cake. He is having his party at Pump it Up in a couple of weeks.

Elin - Enjoy the unhumid. It seems less humid here than a few weeks ago, but apparently my asthma doesn't like it. Hope that isn't a sign of how FL will be.

I have air plane tickets!!! Yes, I know, about time! Well, actually Phil doesn't have a ticket home yet, but that's because I need to call and talk to SW about extending a credit from Dec. We didn't realize that the $10 credit applied to those $100 tickets would date the whole thing to expire in April. So, I've got to see if they'll extend it. Unfortunately, we're leaving earlier than I had wanted to on Sunday. The two choices we've had all along were a 9:45am departure with 2 hours in Atlanta or a 10pm arrival at home or a big price jump. Since we have to work the next morning and Terra will want some catch up time with Daddy when we get home, the morning flight was the best option. So, I guess we'll be hanging in ATL for a couple of hours. Or praying for some big flight time changes so that I can get us moved to a happier flight.

Chanon - I'm going to email you the flight info now for ME and AirTran seating.

Before leaving for work this morning I put Glynis's pot roast in the crock pot, it smelled so good when I came home! I have done the dishes & have a 2cd load of laundry going, so now I will just kick back & watch the Olympics.

My manager's dgd's boyfriend was shot & killed last night here in town. Their family just can not seem to catch a break this year

Before leaving for work this morning I put Glynis's pot roast in the crock pot, it smelled so good when I came home! I have done the dishes & have a 2cd load of laundry going, so now I will just kick back & watch the Olympics.

When we came home last night I leaned against one of the posts for our carport, and it fell over. Turns out the bottom had rotted, so that was added to our list for today.

So the AC man was here yesterday and put some leak stop and freon in the unit, if that doesn't do the trick we will have to replace it.

After spending almost $500 at Lowes this morning we have now installed the new dishwasher, replaced the post, and replaced the handle on one of the toilets. We still have to paint the post, and do some other touch up painting, since we had to buy a gallon of paint anyway, and replace the house numbers on the front of the house.

On a good note, Kim Glass is going to bring home an Olympic medal of some sort tomorrow!!! We of course are hoping that medal will be GOLD!!!!!!!!

The weather is perfect for the pool. I hope you get some time in there too. Have you ever gone to the Smyrna Market in FF Shopping Center? If you like Mediterranean food, you will probably love it. It is a small grocery store with a tiny kitchen and eating area. But they also have a pretty vast take-out area! Kristin and I went last night and brought home some delicious things to try. We will be having it again tonight!

Nope, I've never tried it, but now I will have to.
