Oh my GOSH. Can I just say that Kyle, despite being SO good with the girls (he really is phenomenal, and I'm sure his field helps a bit ), would never last one day if roles were reversed and I were gone for hours or days on end. I could punch him right about now!

Sorry but I just found that comment amusing. Everyone of us mothers have felt and thought the exact same thing when our children were about 2 months old too. And mothers, if say you haven't, you are lying! So what you are feeling is perfectly normal.

I'm an egg and proud of it! That way I'm not disappointed when I look at the world through rose colored glasses and they shatter! Plus, when something good happens, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Disboarders do fish extenders as an additional thing when cruising. They are not required or mandatory. Just something fun to do. There is a fish at each door and the fish extender hangs off the fish. People sign up to participate. People can bring anything and everything to put in the other extenders. Kristine is probably stressed because she is organizing for her cruise.

The actual extenders vary from paper bags, to elaborate homemade embroidered creations.

Below is some of the stuff we received in our fish extender. This was not nearly everything. We got lots of pens, magnets, pins, glow necklaces and bracelets, key chains, stickers, candy, etc

The concept is nice and fun, but unfortunately I would feel guilty because most of that stuff would go right in the trash.

Thanks! DH called me at 5 PM to tell me DS was vomiting, so that was bad. But DS says he feels fine now. Not sure what was going on. DH is off tomorrow, so if DS is sick we won't have to scramble and juggle.

Ok, these Monday nights just might kill me. They wouldn't be bad on their own, but then Tues and Thurs we have football practice for 2 hours. Wednesday is my new favorite day of the week. No activities that evening!

Mine would do the same thing. And then it would come home and sit. I have a rule that if something sits in the exact same spot for 3 days, that little junky type stuff like happy meal toys,etc., then it goes in the trash. My kids never miss it. Because obviously they have forgotten about it if it hasn't moved in 3 days! Needless to say there is no clutter at my house.

4 hours per week? That's crazy! He's in elementary school! I can't believe football is such a huge time commitment!

Leighanna did very well on her second spelling test. I should take a picture of it for you. She dotted her eyes with hearts! Silly girl! Where she got that notion I do not know!

I remember going through that phase when I was a young girl as well. I think I may still have a couple of items that have my signature with my hearts. I was really cool because I had to i's to dot with my hearts!!!!

You are right Tammi-I wish more MS parents felt the same way as I see hoochie mama makeup on a daily basis.
When Cassidy was ready to wear make up I made sure she had a proper lesson on face care and application of makeup (my mom did it as she is a Mary Kay consultant and has all the fun doo dads). When Abi shows an interest we will do the same thing.

I planned on doing the same thing but my kids never showed a real interest in wearing make-up on a regular basis. Too much like their mother, I guess.
