...which was actually what my grandmother wore for her first communion too. :sad1: So I now have my something old. :flower3:

:worship: :worship: Wow. That is amazing. They must have had a lot of time on their hands for that one.

Robyn I don't think I'd want to be a fly on the wall. They are sure to come back wondering why anyone would choose to go to WDW at all :confused3 Some people have the attitude that vacations just happen, no planning, no stress, just spontaneous fun. Obviously they've never actually experience all that WDW has to offer. :rotfl:

But wouldn't it be fun to just watch all the craziness!

I love parents who are mystified at how I MAKE kids nap. :rotfl2:

No stroller for a 2 year old? Right. Good plan! And no breaks? Sure. Perfect!

DS naps almost every day at WDW. Not because I MAKE him, but because he falls asleep in his bed as soon as he puts his head down. I expect DH to nap because that is his normal schedule.

Momboss and I have talked briefly about them going next December with Princess, but I almost wonder if they should wait until she is older. Well, she will be almost 4 by then, so it should be OK. But she will have a stroller and I will strongly suggest that they take a midday break.

I have mighty powerful nap abilities except with my own!! But I don't force them, they are given a book and a quiet room and 9 out of 10 times are out within 10 minutes!

Emma didn't have stroller when she was 5 and did just fine, although all of our friends told us she'd need one. Mo was 18 months and obviously had one and gladly stayed in it 99% of the time!

On the last trip we had the double stroller and Mo rode in it more than she didn't. There were times she preferred to walk and that was fine but when we needed her in there she got in and enjoyed the ride.

Kristin and I are home with beautifully manicured nails and relaxed hands and arms from the massage. The wind and rain were not too bad, but the power went off a few times. Bob said it was off here at the house for about 15 minutes while we were gone too.

Yay for being nice and relaxed!!

I have to have cornbread muffins with my chili. I also like to top it with cheese and sour cream.

This is how we like ours!!

I love it and what great sentimental meaning. :goodvibes

The :sunny: is out!! It's still windy but it looks like the rain is at it's end. Not even a puddle in our back yard!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Eric braved the elements and picked up our Mario Kart that came in. We were going to save it for Hanukkah but decided today was a good day to play it. We've had a blast (even though I am horrible at it  ) racing each other. I am about to order Chinese for dinner and Gail is coming over to eat with us.

I actually went out shopping in the rain.

Got Hal some undies, t-shirts and socks. I also found some lounging pants for here at home. Then I went to buy some birthday cards since Hal is turning 60 next Friday and I am planning a surprise party for him next Saturday. Lots of friends are coming and it looks to be like it will be a lot of fun.

I also found a pair of jeans, crop jeans and a top all for $32.

But my feet are cold now and my jeans are still wet!!!!

Well im finally on break :)
I have been doing cleaning/work all day and im done for now! ill finish my lesson plans in the morning but for now, im going to enjoy relaxing and listning to the rain !!

How sweet, and it's beautiful! :goodvibes

Chanon, the pillow is perfect! I know you will treasure it! :goodvibes
We didn't have a ring bearer. :confused3

That sounds like a fun evening!

We just got back from Sam's. I very nearly forgot to go get my Depo.:scared1: The pharmacy is closed tomorrow, and my appointment Monday is at 9:45, which is earlier than the pharmacy opens! I don't know why I am having such a hard time getting it together for this shot! :sad2:

Chanon - the pillow is beautiful and I love that it is from something that means so much to you. :goodvibes

It is :sunny: here! And much cooler, although still a tad humid. We seem to have done OK. I hope all the rest of you fare as well!

We didn't either, we just didn't have anyone we really wanted to do it. We did, however, have 2 adorable flower girls! :lovestruc
That's how it was for us - only reversed. No girls!
Bob's nephew is the only youngest among all our friends and family too - and we have no girls in Bob's family...until Monday! His sister (the last girl born) is delivering on Monday - scheduled to go in around 5pm. She's having a girl if the ultrasounds are correct!

That's exciting! I hope all goes well with her delivery! :wizard:
Oops. DH has been using my laptop and changed it to his screen name.

We didn't have any young children in or at our wedding.
My sister was 12, so she wore a dress similar to the bridesmaids' but I can't remember if she walked down the aisle with them or not. Diva was only 7 months old so she stayed up in our hotel room until the ceremony was over, then the babysitter brought her down for the reception. We had our ceremony and reception in a hotel, so it was convenient for the out of town guests.

I guess maybe some of my cousins had kids, but there weren't any nieces or nephews or anything. None of our friends had kids yet.

Maybe unconsciously you want more kids? :lmao:

I have 12 aunts & uncles (before marriage) on one side and 8 on the other. I had lots & lots & lots & lots of cousins to choose from. We were always very close growing up. We just had 3 bridesmaids, 3 groomsmen & 2 ushers. That was it for our wedding. I would have preferred 4 bridesmaids but Chuck didn't have a 4th friend for a groomsmen.

My sister had the same issue but her ex wanted 5 guys in the wedding and she only had 3 friends. She was really in a quandry and I told her that she should do what makes them happy. What difference did it matter if it was uneven. So she had her 3 and he had his 5. Each of the bridesmaids had a groomsmen on either arm when they walked out and the maid of honor (me) and the best man walked out together.

I wished I'd been so smart when I'd had my wedding. However, she is 7 years younger than me and got married when she was a couple years older than I had been. The 10 years really made a difference in my maturity I guess.

We started with an even number of bridesmaids and groomsmen, plus my sister (a junior bridesmaid). We had debated whether she was the 8th, or it was 8 plus her, and opted for the latter.... then, one of Kyle's "friends" backed out a few weeks before, so we had not one but 2 extra girls! :rotfl:
