Well tomorrow I turn the big 4-0!!! (So does Dana, we were born on the same day).

This year I thought it would be fun to make cards for each other rather than buy them. The kids helped me with their card making kits..they also had scrapbooking sets & gave me some papers to use too..some glitter glue, a picture of us, & some mushy mush & the card is done.

So it sounds like there could be some exciting news for our family tonight. My cousin is running in the primaries for State Representative in OK. The latest results are really close. I'm hoping he can pull it off. He's only 28, but has been really involved in local polictics for awhile and has the support of the outgoing Representativ.

Sounds good! What do you suggest we wear? Doesn't sound like a tee shirt & shorts place...however I did wear a tee & shorts to Cali Grill & didn't feel out of place. It would be fun to dress up one night though. Thanks

DH and DS will just wear polos and nice shorts. I might wear capris, but maybe just shorts and a nice top.
The night we went was the night the sprinklers went haywire and water was cascading down one wall. It was pretty empty because of that, so not sure what people would have been wearing!

So Terra has decided that she is going to be Mickey for MNSSHP and thus I need to be Minnie. I tried to get her to switch since she has both costumes and I think it would be easier to creat a Mickey costume for me. She's insistant though, so I guess I'm on the lookout for a red dress that I can add dots to. Maybe a shirt and skirt? Who knows!

Well, 100% now reporting and Jared lost. Only by 2% (66 votes) though and his competitor was a lot older and more known in the area so all in all it wasn't a bad showing.

We just got back from a wonderful, albeit long, dinner. Our reservations were for 7:00 and we were seated a little before that. It was a little after 9:00 when we left the restaurant.

Well, 100% now reporting and Jared lost. Only by 2% (66 votes) though and his competitor was a lot older and more known in the area so all in all it wasn't a bad showing.

Bummer! I was hoping to read differently. I hope he isn't too disappointed, it does sound like a good race!

I am going to WDW. The DAY AFTER TOMORROW! I am starting to get that jittery feeling.

I am up early today because DH left about 4:45 and I couldn't go back to sleep, but I was asleep before that. DS and I have a couple of errands to run today before we pick Princess up from camp, but it's not enough to really make the time pass any faster.
