All caught up!

Elizabeth I hope you back is feeling better tomorrow :wizard:

Sounds like you are all enjoying your Wii. Riley is wanting one for Christmas, I might have to get the fit for myself. Maybe that would help me exercise & I am sure the boys would have fun(or maybe make fun)with me :rotfl:

I got us a room booked for this weekend, we decided to stay Friday & Saturday night. I keep thinking this is money I could use for Disney, but I love watching Riley play baseball & he loves playing so it is worth it.

Gary went & bought all the new cabinets for our kitchen, he bought the sink last week. So now our dining room is full. Guess I need to start packing up the kitchen & get ready for a big mess :headache:

Goodnight all!

I bet Penny is nice in person. She seems so on here!

I also forgot to tell you something... I had a dream about you last night. I actually had to come on here and look at the pictures you all posted to make certain that your hair was not, in fact, pink! :scared:

:rotfl:

Theresa, I hope Abi's sting feels better today! :goodvibes

When I did the Balance Test on Wii Fit I didn't pay any attention to the directions and went exactly opposite of what I was supposed to do. :rotfl: My trainer wondered if I tripped a lot. :rotfl2:

But, I am better at this yoga stuff than I thought I would be. And though I am still obese my Wii Fit age is only one year older than my real age! :yay:

This should be interesting!

Wonderful! I'm very nervous about mine  Post-partum muscle atrophy, separated stomach muscles and an incision that refuses to close make me a bit overly-cautious, I'm afraid! :rotfl: I really want to do it though, so I suppose I'll just make a fool out of myself. My OB says I can do whatever feels ok, I'm just scared

As Becky said, it will look like I improved quickly, at least! :thumbsup2

And here we are, as of tonight:

Cute!

Becky not sure about the whole design, but didn't Kristine make the Princess part?

All thoes with the Wii fit, how is the balance and coordination? somethings of which I have very little of.

No need to fear, Jennifer. It is really very user friendly and you can set your own pace. Some aspects of it were easier for me to use than I had thought they would be. And others... "Jill" tells you to take it at your own pace, and I did.

She did know when I stepped down while doing "The Tree" yoga move and told me so. I am certainly not a tree yet, not even a shrub... maybe a clump of liriope. :rotfl2:

Also, when Kristin and I were still Wii-ing at midnight, she came in and asked if I wanted to review my recent sleeping habits! :lmao:

If you don't have those it will help strengthen you so you come back here and tell us that you do have it now! It also cautions you to feel comfortable at all times and not to hesitate to hold on to something or someone if you feel a task is too difficult. Kristin stood behind me on one of the yoga and one of the balance moves to "spot" me like in gymnastics. I also had a chair beside me in case I needed further support.

I am telling you all, if a 57 year old woman whose only exercise is walking a few miles a day can do it... you can do it if you want to. And it is fun. In fact, I am off here to do some more!

Tammi - I hope your day back to real life is not too painful.

That's too funny! I'm glad to hear it's user-friendly. Now if I can just make my brain be the same..... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I actually will have to skip the Yoga altogether for now, until my stupid ab muscles decide to go back together. I have received a red light on abdominal exercises for the most part. :worried:

It's ok though.... it's not like I have hours to spend anyway, so that part will just have to wait a while :goodvibes:

Thanks. It's going to be an easier transition since I don't have to get the kids shuttled to and from daycare on my way to work. So I think I will work 9-7, to miss the traffic. Then with 10 hr. days I can be off on Friday. :)

Good morning. :)

I stayed up entirely too late last night reading Harry Potter. I have one more chapter to go, but I HAD to go to sleep. Plus after staying up late for the past several weeks, it's going to be difficult to transition back to an earlier bedtime.

Actually the guy that ran the event Saturday night says they have a pin trading event in NJ and they have lots of things going on besides pin trading. Some people go up to NY city and other things. The cost per night is about $78 and that includes breakfast. That is not a bad price. It is in October. I can't see that happening this year, but it is something to think about since there would be people there I would know.

That sounds like something I could handle! You should think about going. I bet it would be really fun!

I'm glad you are enjoying it, Elin! :goodvibes

so Elizabeth and Marci,
what are some fun and inexpensive things to do in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area. Because of T.S. Dolly we might not get to go to the beach this Fri. to Mon. Olivia thinks that is our "Vacation" So we need to do some fun stuff. Not really wanting to go to Waco as we have already done the Zoo their.

Good question! Dallas World Aquarium is really cool but kind of expensive, Ft. Worth Zoo is really nice but we usually go to the Dallas Zoo because we have a membership. The Science Place and Natural History museum are fun and they are indoors. There are a bunch of art museums (Crow Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center) downtown but Olivia might be young for those. Hurricane Harbor is in Arlington - it would be horribly hot to go to Six Flags. Maybe the Rangers are playing? Are there certain things Olivia enjoys?

We had a rough night here. At 10:30 last night our alarm decided to beep. It beeped every 5 seconds until almost 2 AM. :headache: DH and I tried pushing all sorts of buttons on it. Once I got it to stop beeping for about an hour. Most of the time it would stop for 5 minutes and start again. I tried to pull the panel off the wall but I couldn't. There is some sort of internal battery and OBVIOUSLY there is a problem with it. Guess the guys can fix the alarm when they come to look at the dryer. Poor DH - Once he was up and in the shower it didn't beep anymore. Not sure what I did to it to make it stop. :confused3

Tammi - Have a good day! :wizard:
