DD7's "cool" room makeover!!

Hi All! Just wanted to share some pics from DD's room makeover (her gift from DH and I for her 7th birthday). I still have a few shelves to hang, but besides that, we're all done!

No more little girl room. It's still what I'd call cute (minus the Jesse McCartney poster), but she LOVES that it has a couple princess-ey things without it being a "little girl" room.

I told her this is how her room will look until AT LEAST 13!!

WOW! I didn't expect posts so quickly!!

My sister sketched the butterflies based on one of the throw pillows I bought. And I painted them in. It was a LONG process, but they are her favorite part of the room!!

Very, very cool! I showed the pics to my dd (14 in 2 weeks), she thought it was very cool too. So, you should be good for a few years. Unless she becomes one of those teens subject to random whims - nah, couldn't happen!
