DD with really short hair and BBB

I want my DDs to do BBB (and my DS do PL) on our next trip, but my 3 yr old has really short hair. Do they have a BBB hair style for girls with this situation. If she can't do it, my older DD and DS won't be able to do these either (I would hate to leave her out.) I know there is the Main Street Barber Shop option, but I thought BBB would be better experience for her, esp since big sis is doing it.

My dd had a short bob cut when we took her to BBB and they put the top part up in a bun and left the bottom down. Here's a picture...you can kind of see the hair hanging in the back.

We also have "bobs"--and I cleverly took them to the barbershop on day one and had all their hair cut off....then did bbb on day two, WRONG ORDER for sure!!!

my DD had her hair bobbed on a beauty salon trip with her great-grandmother last february and, upon our trip to BBB in june, 2009, the FGIT put up most of the hair into a bun (like the adorable little girl in the pic above, but without bangs), but left a short layer in the back, the one closest to her scalp, hanging down. in my opinion, it looked silly that way, and i didn't like it at all, it ruined the effect of the hairdo, but bear in mind, these women are NOT trained hairstylists, and only know how to do the hair styles they've been taught. i'm still a little irked i paid so much for such a silly-looking hairdo, but my DD had a good time, so that's what counts.

I have been wondering about this also-DD4 is about to get her really long hair cut for Locks Of Love to a bob. We have BBB booked for Aug & I don't know what to do? Wait till after vacation & struggle w/all the knots until then or cut it now & hope it grows a little?

skw444 and MontyMontyMOnty - What cute pics! My DDs hair is not even that long. You'd be lucky to get a pebbles-type ponytail out of it (my DS2 hair is longer than hers LOL.) I know they have something for boys and hope that maybe they have something similar for girls, like streak of color and sparkles or something. How well do the nails fit a 3/4 year old? We will likely not do the Castle Package, as they already have a closet full of Princess dresses and it is pricey for two (esp since we plan on CRT that day, too.) I'd rather spend $400 on the GF Tea Party.

If you are looking for the sparkles and colors then you would be better off heading to the harmony barbershop on Main St in MK. It is about $8 and they do color streaks and sparkles. My dd7 has done BBB at least 7x and the BS 2x and likes the BS better LOL! I HIGHLY recommend staying away from the press on nails at BBB, if you are doing nails opt for the polish. They polish the nails and you get to keep 2 bottles of nail polish. DD lost 2 of the press ons just sitting in the chair at the BBB getting her hair done. Even the FGIT said the press ons stink! You can see the picture of my dd's completed hairdo in my previous post on this thread. They do not take reservations, so it is first come first served and a line typically forms. Depending on when you get there you can either walk right in or wait about 10-20 mins. They do actual haircuts as well as the color and sparkles. They do take credit cards, but you must tip in cash, they have no way to add the tip onto your credit card charge.

I recommend the Barbershop too! We have done it with DS twice and they do a great job - he HATES getting his hair done at all. They did the hair cut then spiked it up, added blue gel & "pirate dust" glitter and he looked awesome. He got so many comments from everyone throughout the day and loved the attention. I can't find the pic on my computer...sorry!
I've seen girls in there too, it is SOOOOO much more affordable than the BBB - especially if you have 3(?) kids? They will feel just as special leaving there, at least in my opinion.

Your dd's hair looks ADORABLE, and my dds loved it too! We have ressies for the BBB, but I think we might try the BS instead! You just saved me a boatload of money! Thanks for the tip!
