DD went to the ENT yesterday and she definately needs her tonsils and adnoids removed. I orginally scheduled it for Dec. 16th, but decided this morning to reschedule for Nov. 11th. This way she will miss one week of school and have Thanksgiving holidays to recover. Hopefully, she will be feeling good for our Disney trip. She'll have 3 1/2 weeks of recovery. Right now she has a sinus infection and is on an antibiotic. She was really cute yesterday telling everyone she has a little frog in her throat.
I just wanted to post an update from her Dr. visit. So on Nov. 11th, please keep her in your thoughts. Thanks so much.
Here are a few things the Dr. told me I wasn't aware of:
1. Causes children to be underweight
2. Restless sleeping
3. wetting bed
4. hyperactivity
While my daughter doesn't do 3 or 4, she does do 1 & 2. I especially wasn't aware of #1. She is tiny.
She also asked me about her stopping breathing at night. I had never noticed it before, not that I was looking for it, but last night I couldn't sleep thinking about it. I didn't notice it last night, but I think I am going to watch her again tonight. Thanks again.

I had my tonsils removed when I was 23. It took me over 3 weeks to recover.
