DD just returned from the prom!!!

The minute the car pulled out of the driveway I cried. My son was going to PROM!!! My son who was not supposed to laugh, or walk or know who I was was going to the PROM in a tux he picked out!!!! Yup a black tux with a silver tie and vest. My DH went with him as all the children had to have a one on one chaperone. DS went to the PROM!!! Of course we had to make sure the tuxedo had no buttons he could eat. We had to send a diaper and wipes and we had to make sure the carnation buttoniere was edible but...MY SON WENT TO THE PROM!!!! Sorry, I just had to tell someone..MY SON WENT TO THE PROM!!!

HE did. Dad on the other hand is exausted and I am still a little teary eyed this morning....a tuxedo!!! YEAH!!

That's so awesome! I just can't imagine Christian going to the prom. But I bet he'd love the music and the lights. I'm so glad ya'll let D go. I bet he looked so grown up.

I used to know one of them kids who would never walk, lol.
Another was a young lady with encephalitis who would never wake form a coma.

It is nice to beat the odds and nicer hear of a great success story like your son's. Congratulations on getting him in school and to the prom. You are one fine momma.
