DD help!

So we are leaving for IOA in a few days and my sister and my friend are going to try to convince me to ride DD..Better yet I know they are going to convince me I am scared to death of roller coasters, I even flipped out in the line of space mountain lol. I really want to ride it so I can say I did it but I wish I could just skip the riding part What is the easiet one to ride? Like easy on the stomach and for beginners? And there is one ride they cannot convince me to ride, The hulk. I made that quite clear that I am not riding that

What is the easiet one to ride?

Fire (IMO)...it's smoother than Ice....but, try to ride both as they ARE different tracks and different experiences. If you can ride one, you should have no trouble riding the other....AND, if you can ride DD, Hulk should be a snap!! Go for it.....it's safe....what have you got to lose???

Ride it with your eyes closed. The anticipation is much worse than the actual motion!

FWIW, I thought DD's was more intense, "worse" than the Hulk.

First off - my mother is COMPLETELY scared to death of heights. Now, ironically, my brothers and i did not realize this until recently because mom has always a trooper and will ride everything (with the exception of DDFF) at least once. Now, her and daddy say they are too old to be turned upside down all the time and have been deemed "the holder of all the crap" - but i digress.

My mom handled both DD and Hulk. Now, her eyes may be closed the ENTIRE time but she rode them! Hulk has a mean take off - but once you pass that - the worst is over (IMHO)

I think that DD may have more twirls and flips, and i would agree that the anticipation is the biggest thing that gets you. I say - ride them both. If you can ride one - you can ride the other.

I watched a little bit of the on ride video off of google and it doesnt look to bad. As long as I dont look down I think I will be fine. I might close my eyes the whole time but after I did it I will probably ride it again. Same with space mountain, I was scared to ride it but once the cart started going I was fine. Then I rode it 3 more times
