Fall/Early Winter 09/30/25 Incentives Released

We also decided to add our two adult children to the deed so everyone can enjoy the direct benefits going forward that made sense for us since we travel most of the time together anyway with boyfriend‘s girlfriend‘s cousins, etc. I also added my two adult children to the old deed for Saratoga. It only cost $200 and it made sense to do it all at the same time as purchasing the new Points at the Poly.
Did you use the in-house title agency to retitle your resale SSR or did you do it on your own before adding on?

Give him your DVC referral link 😂
Do I even have one of those, where is it lol.

He told me to tell him the best resort to stay at and im like thats a loadedd question that would lead to a lot of arguments 🤣🤣

He looked at me kinda crazy, but he said he cares about amazing food, pure relaxation, and more upscale environment.

I ended up telling him to stay at Riviera, i personally wanted to say BWV but it didnt give me doctor vibes 🤣🤣 He was writing this all down so I hope I did him right lol

Yep. On the site hover over MY DVC then on the left "my referrals"

Thanks! What do we get for referring lol can I refer myself 🤣🤣
No. It was a GC at one point. But just now I saw its says "If any of your friends or family become Members, you might receive a special Disney dining experience as a little thank you for sharing the magic of Disney Vacation Club with your loved ones."

So they get 30k and I get a meal, seems fair 🤣 I was thinking more 60/40 lol

My guide only asked if I had ever been on a Disney cruise. It did not matter that it was more than 15 years ago and definitely not a members cruise.
My guide certainly shouldn't have framed the Castaway Club offer as if it was going to be offered on the Member cruise and that she was able to offer it to me because im going...🤨
But its good others can take advantage. People are saying the incentives are not great for PIT but you can get well under 200pp with MB, D23, and Castaway

Darn, we are just signing our docs for the sept incentives on 150 RIV. After learning of the Castaway Cay credit (we did a short cruise several years ago) it would be $150 less if I’m doing the math right. I really dont want to go back and do everything again especially since I am including my two adult children on the contract and its like herding cats. And just yesterday I was congratulating myself on getting the better deal! LOL.

In the end $150 isnt all that much. I may redo if it was the full $1000 but not for $150

I'll just say that I did this in August, and although me and my wife both had to e-sign some docs again (first, documents cancelling then existing purchase contracts and then the contracts repriced), we did not have to notarize again. I thought I did because they sent the paperwork over the same as if it was brand new with the link to schedule your notary appointment - I actually scheduled and then a day before got an e-mail that it was cancelled because I didn't need to do it again.

Yeah, the average resale price of Poly contracts on the site sponsor last month was $166/point. You calculate all the savings you can get by going direct - not just what you mentioned, but credit card cash back, pro-rated dues, maybe some 0% financing, one set of closing costs to get the points you want - there is no way I would consider Poly resale right now if I wanted to own Poly points.

Fire sales will get you in cheaper always but you never know if a fire sale will happen. I can see waiting for one if you aren't really sure you want to buy but if you know you want to buy then I agree it will just get more expensive in the future.

I wasn't around back then... does anyone know the reasoning behind the VGF fire sale?
It was a cheap flip, they had declared 100% of the inventory, and they wanted the cash.

I think you are coming out ahead. You paid $30900- $500 D23 - $3000 for MB? That gives you a net price of $27400 or $182.67/point.

For right now it is $32250- $500 D23 - $1000 Castaway Club- $3000 MB = $27750 or $185/ point.

I’m still mad our guide wouldn’t lock in the price when we reached out on 28th and 29th. He said it had been too long since our tour ( we did one in person in August).

We're thinking alike. I bought a resale contract recently and the closing costs were higher than Direct with same pts.. Having unrestricted points AND for a good price? Muah, chef's kiss. Just had my notary appt today. and cant wait to go back as owners. We stayed there a couple times first to determine the fit so its all set. Not too excited about the tower TP view point cost though 😬.
