DD harassed @ school/what to do?

That is exactly what the principle said to do, and as far as I know my DD has tried to do this. She was standing outside of my DD's class on Friday but my DD didn't tell the teacher so nothing was done. My DD doesn't seem to care anymore. I think she has gotten used to it. :confused3

Then she should keep on ignoring it, if you get the police involved the girl still get what she wants and keep doing it. She will keep doing whatever she can get away with untill you stop caring because she wants your dd to get scared and annoyed so why would she stop?

My DD says that she doesn't care anymore, but we will see how long that will last. I promised her that we would not go to the police yet, but if one more thing happens, I would have no choice. Hopefully, after this 9 weeks when they will not have a single class together, it will be over for good. DD told me tonight that the girl sent word to her that she was sorry. let's just hope that she means it.

She probably doesn't mean it, she just wants your dd to trust her..

I am still not sure why you haven't gone to the police. Even if the police do nothing, documentation is HUGE should you ever have to go to the court.

It's Thursday and so far we have not had any problems this week. I am still keeping my fingers crossed though.

DD came home and was a little upset when she found out that that girl has to kiss her boyfriend in the play. He is saying he wont do it and wants to change rolls with someone. :sad2: It's almost like this "young teacher" is doing things to keep everything going with the girls. I will be so glad when this 9 weeks is over.

I know this may not be practical given work schedules and all, but this your child who is being threatened and tortured everyday of her life. I would not be dealing with the principal over the phone. I would be at his/her office every day until something is done to keep this girl away from your daughter. Actually, at this point, I would be making visits to the Superintendent's office since you've gotten nowhere with the principal. This girl is at the point of obssession and people who get to that point don't just up and stop one day. This isn't normal high school drama either, it's gone far beyond that.

I know, I am just hoping that it will go away. As far as I know, nothing happened this week. Everyone in the school knows that I called the police on her ex bf, and she is embarrassed about it. She really doesn't want to be known as "The girl with the crazy mom who calls the police when someone is mean to her daughter". I can't blame her for that, but I also have my eyes & ears open so if anything else happens I will take my records up there to the police.
