We have a grand-gathering for the holidays. We are all doing the dinning plan. DB is a vegetarian. I am worried about the counter service selections for him if he does the plan.

For example at Flame Tree they have a fruit platter. Can he get FF with it on the plan:confused3 . Are combos preset? HELP!

I'm a Vegetarian and I go to Allearsnet.com and
look at there menus for the different CS for the WDW Parks.
This website also has a section which talks about
Vegetarian food at the parks and
I think it also covers the information on what CS meals are on DDP.
I use this menu search everytime I go to WDW and
it save me alot frustration.
I hope this helps.
Have a Magical Trip! :wizard:

Definitely chack out allearsnet.com I'm vegetarian, DD isn't, and we've never had much trouble getting food for both of us, with or without the plan.

Columbia Harbor House is a favorite. Food courts at resorts are usually good. Several places have veggie burgers, pizza, veggie chili, veggie wraps, and more. EPCOT has several nice choices - I like the veggie platter at Morocco's CS.

You'll be fine. :)

Enjoy the trip!

He would likely have to use a snack credit to add fries to his fruit plate, or some CS's let you substitute "sides" for the dessert, or he can just share everyone else's fries, since they usually give you plenty.

I'm a vegetarian, and I've never come close to going hungry at CS places at WDW. Some places don't have much, but it's usually easy to walk to a different CS nearby and bring it back, or share the sides and desserts off my dh and kids, or stuff myself on snacks like stuffed pretzels and Mickey ice cream bars!

Definitely check out the menus here or on www.allearsnet.com to get some ideas where he might like the choices. One good option for everyone is Sunshine Seasons at Epcot--they have several different "stations" to choose from, such as Asian, sandwiches, grill, etc. plus a great dessert selection. And if you don't see something on the menu somewhere, don't hesitate to ask--sometimes they have other options.

Thank you for clearing that up. He will only be with us a few days during this trip. I will pick a good counter service for him. He is easy. He is 34 & lives in Manhattan & has never cooked in his own apartment he eats out every meal.:)
