Where did you find this great rate? I could not find it on the web site, and the guy I called had a lowest rate of over $100. He was shocked at what I told him that I read here and had never heard of such a thing. He did not even know of a Downtown Disney Courtyard. Is it the Lake Buena Vista one? Did you need a special code?

We have worked with the Courtyard DD for a few years now, and honestly, they are a great group of people. We did have some concerns last year about complaints regarding cleanliness, but it was very isolated and addressed immediately. We've done three unannounced inspections of the property in the last year, and they have passed with flying colors. Also, don't worry about getting treated differently because of paying a good promotional rate...that hotel is not run that way. They are an Official Hotel of WDW, which means they have to satisfy a much higher standard of guest service. Disney also inspects them regularly as well.

Because of DH's work, however, we have to go in July or Dec. I am having trouble finding a good but cheap place in those months.

There is no time share presentation involved.

The pool area is nice - 2 (I think, may have been 3) regular pools and a kiddie pool, also a hot tub.

It seems like there should be a catch to this deal, but I haven't found one yet. When we stayed there in May we had no complaints.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I knew there is a catch: there is no more rooms available for that rate. When I called a tall free no given above, they told me the rate for 8-9 to 8-15 is $89. Maybe the rate for second half of August is better but we cannot go any later. Anyway, on Dreams Res web site I found a rate of $39/a night for Mond-Th and much higher of $89 for weekend, but average is around $60 so I am happy.

The rate goes quickly once the word gets out and those who have gone in the past look for it , and must book right away. I went last Aug. at the rate of $20.02. It was great. the room was a decent size and everything was great-nice pool area, enjoyed the mgrs. reception, kids liked the game room, very good buffet breakfast in adjoining dining area. We also had a great view of "the World". Keep in mind-it is a hotel-not a resort. the amenities are very appropriate for a hotel. I would go again if I didn't several other irons in the fire and an addition being built!

Hi there -

I stayed there about a year & a half ago...same thing, got a rate of something like $25/night - so how could I pass it up!? Yes, it's not like one of the Disney hotels - but I think for the price, you simply cannot beat it. The room was big, and clean (both pluses) - and we were lucky enough to have a nice view of DD. Like I said, for the price - you can't beat it!
