DD before flight out?

Was excited to read that airlines will pick up your luggage from the port. We have Tiffany Towncar picking us up, will they take us to DD for the same price, and can you easily get a taxi to the airport? Our flight is not leaving until around 6:30 p.m.

Also, the state park in Cozumel (Chana...)sp., does it have nice beach areas for those of us who don't snorkel and just want to relax? My mother will want to snorkel but I would prefer to lounge, is this a good place? Will also have my 8yr. old. Thanks.

I cant tell you about DD but I have been to Chankanaab Park in Cozumel and yes they have things called Palapas for Sunbathers as well as snorkeling just off shore. They have equipment rental if your mom wants that (although I'd suggest bringing her own) and there is also an Archaeological Park with jungle trails, replicas of places found in Mexico, a typical Myan village and free guided tours. They have an excellent botanical garden (we didnt go but heard from others it was good) and a really pretty lagoon. They completely rebuilt and redesigned this whole park in 1996. There is also shops, restaurants and snack bars and a Mayan Museum. The cost to get in is $10.00 for adults and children are free.
