DD at AK now, can I make FP for HS for later?

I thought once she was in the park that we would be able to make FP for later in the day at HS, but this is not working either on the app or on the website. I'm trying to find where I read this but now I can't seem to find it! Did I make this up?

She is there with another family who does not like to plan, so we found out this morning that the plan was for the two girls to do AK and HS both today. So we scrambled for any FP at all. She would really love to do TSMM. Her friend doesn't like the thrill rides so not even trying for RnR or ToT.

Does she have FP scheduled at AK? Those would have to be used before scheduling later FP. If they don't have any scheduled for AK you should have no problem trying to book DHS for later in the day. Unless I am misunderstanding the question?

From everything I have read you have to do all three FP before you can add another. You can actually tap in on the third and then book another FP.

OK. She has 2 FP at AK. Used one already. I was trying to book the 3rd one at HS, because I thought you could do that same day, but I probably misunderstood.

BTW- A few bits of intel-Flights of Passage was at more than an hour wait at 8:15. By 9am it was 205 minutes! Na'vi was just 15 min wait up until close to 9. But then it jumped to an hour, so there may have been some reporting lag there. So in Avatar there were 205 and 60 min waits and the whole rest of AK had 5-10min waits at 9:15, even EE!! Also, I was just now able to snag a FP for Na'vi for 10:30am!!! (unavailable all morning until just this minute)

Yes you have to do all 3 in one park then the 4 you can do at another park. I would try and get a Safari ride as the third.

If you schedule FP's for one park you have to use all those or let them expire before you go on the app and get FP's for another park. When all the AK FP's are done, then you can go on the app and see what's available for Hollywood Studios

You'll need to book her a third FP at AK, and once the time for that has elapsed (or she has used it) then you can book a 4th one at HS

Thank you all! You were exactly right. I had to use that 3rd one at AK. It's all worked out nicely. I was able to get them TSMM, GMR, ST, and TSMM so far at HS!

Is this something that's recently changed, or maybe I'm misunderstanding. There's a long fastpass addendum on these boards that says you can book one or two fast passes in one park and then when you tap in to those book in another park. There are photo instructions and everything. It's on the main fastpass thread, but maybe I'm misunderstanding the whole situation.

Lizzie, I thought I had read that exact same thing, though when I tried to pull it up this morning, I couldn't find it. So I purposefully booked 2 FP at AK and was waiting until they entered the park to book the 3rd at DHS. Then I tried it after they went to their first FP and it still didn't work. So that's when I posted on here. So, on the advice above, I booked them a 3rd FP and once they used that, it allowed me to book the 4th in a different park.

you can still access the FP Addendum via Mesaboy2's signature (he has a sticky regarding fastpasses). Cluelyss was the OP, Marciemi did a lot of testing for the FP splitting. We should ask one of them if something recently changed.
