DD 6 dropped from all FPs!!

I would highly recommend trying to get the accounts split up instead of having them all on your account.
 
Well I called back and they told me there again was nothing in terms of a confirmation number or anything to give me - my best bet is showing up with the picture I took of my computer screen the night I booked my FPs and show them that I had a FP for 5 of us at that exact time that i now have only 4. They have also noted my reservation and if they have any questions they are to call the IT help line which will share the note with them on my situation.

What a day - everything went too smoothly for me when it came to booking my FPs - I really think the error was made when I called to add my room location requests. Someone somehow doubled up my DD8 and eliminated DD6 which voided all of her FPs. The only FP I even really care about was A&E of course. They added her in for Mine Train but our window of time is narrowed because they couldn't get her back at the exact time - not a big deal.

It truly boggles my mind that they can't somehow connect me with the front desk of the resort now and correct the issue now.

They aren't going to pull someone off of checking people in to deal with IT issues. It might be something that can only be fixed in the resort check-in process. If it could be fixed now, there should be someone in IT who can do it.

I hope it works out. It was the backend IT guy who fixed me and gave me a reservation # for the one he couldn't add. The mobile app is still goofy. If all the FPs show up on the PC, it may be fine.
 
Wanted to add my experience in the last 36 hours to this thread so others may also hold out hope. Yesterday after work I logged in to change a FP and my DD's BFF was dropped from the entire reservation. No ticket (which is a YES program ticket) no villains ticket, no FP, nothing.

By the time I had the time to call it was too late for the evening so I read a lot on line.. deleted my cookies, etc. Didn't work.

This morning I tried again hoping it was a temp glitch and I would see her... nope. Called the #... estimated wait time was 45 minutes. Put it on speaker and played online.

About 35 minutes into the wait I installed Chrome and logged in... she and all her FP were back!

I hate to say this, but IT is passing the buck when they tell you that your best bet is to bring the screen grab to the front desk to get this issue fixed.

Disney has been mediocre to good when it comes to allowing a screen grab as proof for lost FP+ reservations for anything EXCEPT Anna & Elsa and/or 7DMT. For those two attractions, Disney seems to be crying "capacity" and saying there's nothing they can do (much like how the anytime FP slips GR gives out for guest recovery are usually good for anything except TSM).

There really isn't much the front desk of your resort can do to override the parks' system. It sounds like IT knows it can't fix this and they just want to be done with you.

This sucks OP, and these kind of problems in Disney's system are inexcusable. But Disney doesn't seem to want to make things right when it comes to issues with A&E, so I would plan for your DH to sit this one out.
 
Thanks for all of your input on this frustrating situation.
I wrote to guest services and don't expect much in return from that communication but maybe highlighting this occurrence will help them figure out a way to improve their customer service.


DH and I had also been considering upgrading our resort stay but now I'm too afraid we'll lose all our reservations if i make any alterations.

I'd like to think this will work out for you, but honestly I think it will come down to your DH taking one for the team (sadly).

So unfair!!!! I have read so many stories about people's FP+ up and disappearing. OP I'm so sorry, I hope they can make this right so your family will be together for this special moment. Looks like a truck load of pixie dust is necessary to fix this IT mess.

On the up side, if the OP stalks the web site closely enough, she might be there to catch the next one that drops off someone's schedule unexpectedly.
 
This makes me so sad. I wish I had an A&E FP+... I would gladly give it to you. I hate the fact that dad has to potentially miss out on such a special experience with his three princesses. So unfair.

GOOD NEWS!!!!
After two phone calls to IT and an email sent on Monday to Guest Communications (in which I included the screenshot image of FP for five of us), I received a call from Disney today and they fixed it!! My DD6 now has her own FP+ to meet A&E during our window of time!
Maybe it took a little persistence, but Disney Customer Service came through!
My spirits are lifted - I'm so glad I don't have this weighing on my mind and so very glad that DH will get to see their faces, he deserves that!!

Really turned around my Disney attitude after this morning I saw Frozen weekends were continued to Sept 28th and I have HS scheduled for Sept 29 I was beginning to think I had some sort of Anna and Elsa curse!
