DD 1st Homecoming Dance tonight

Well, she went....dress and all. I will post some pics later, but I could tell she was excited even tho unhappy about the "fancy" end of things. Her boyfriend arrived with a dozen roses...and one for me...we were completely surprised as the kids had agreed on not exchanging flowers. They contributed to the hurricane relief fund in place of purchasing flowers which I thought was very nice of the kids. Anyway, I am anxious to hear how the gym was decorated as the theme is "Haunted Homecoming", and Halloween is DD fav holiday. It was cold tonight tho....all the kids were freezing! It brought back a flood of memories dropping the kids off at the HS. What a great age.

Congrats! My DS went to his last one (senior) and it was DD's 2nd. I actually got a picture of both with their dates. Thank goodness DS is feeling sorry for me that my baby is growing up!
