My oldest is off to Washington with 3 busses of 8th graders and chaperones tomorrow. Tonight she is doing a lot of homework (contrary to my guess, the 8th graders who stay behind do NOT get to watch movies for 2 days but they do work; so all the kids on the trip have a big packet to complete), packing, laundry (I warned her to do it last night but I'm only her mother) and wants to go to bed early. So I'm watching AI and hoping all goes well! I have to drop her off at 6:30 at school and pick her up at 6AM (gulp) mother's day--if I can't get DH to do it.
So let's hope Washington is nice and quiet for the next 4 days! :goodvibes

Spent today in DC with DS's class.... LOTS and lots of busses and school groups! Our tour guide said this spring is back to Pre-9/11 levels of tourism which is definitely good for the local economy. Weather is wonderful this week, not too hot but comfortable. Should be a good time to be in DC - hope she has a great time!
Oh - be aware that pollen is VERY VERY HIGH here right now! People are having a lot of trouble with allergies this spring, much more so than normal.
