DCP Pending Application Help!

Hey guys! So I have found myself in a bit of a kerfuffle.

I applied to the DCP at both WDW and DLR on Sep 15, a few days after the application had been out. I only filled out the application and got the typical "we'll get ahold of you if we need anymore info" email. I didn't get a single email or dashboard notification until a couple of days ago, October 15, telling me that my application had been pended.

So I scoured the blogs, forums, and google to find that many people get pended, BUT only after their WBI and Phone Interview. I have not gone through either of these processes, so I'm a bit perplexed that I could not find anyone in a similar situation.

So, alas here I am asking you beautiful people if you can help calm my nerves and give me a little insight on, what I assume to be, a strange situation.

Has anyone (or anyone you know) been pended before taking the web-based interview or phone interview? If so, for how long?

I just find it odd that Disney will notify me on their "final decision" if I have only filled out the application...

This has happened before. I recommend liking the Disney College Program Facebook page. There you'll find people in similar situations. And I've also heard of people who have applied and skipped straight to phone interview. Other than that, I don't know what else to say. I applied the same day, still with no result.

Hahaha wait I have two corrections.
1. I applied on the 18th
2. I just got pended.
We're in the same boat now.

I haven't heard of anyone being pended before taking their WBI, but I can promise you that you will hear something from Disney by Nov. 15.

Yep, that's what the email from Disney said.

I think I was more concerned that this might put me in a bad position if they look at my app and see that I haven't been interviewed yet and just deny me on that basis alone; wondering if I should have contacted them to let them know I haven't taken the WBI...but it seems the other poster, keymon, is in this same deal, so I'm less worried.
