Has anyone taken 2 young children (ours would be 2.5 and 6-9 months-ish) on a Disney Cruise? I'm wondering if 2 pack n plays even fit in a deluxe family stateroom? Can you get or bring a portable small refrigerator for breast milk? Any experiences to share are welcome :)

I found this photo online several years ago. It shows a regular oceanview room with 2 pack n plays. pack n plays 2.jpg

I believe that every DCL room we’ve ever had has a mini-fridge, but I’d definitely call to confirm for your ship and category. Based on the picture above, the fridge would not be accessible while the pack n play was occupied (it’s blocking the fridge door).

We sailed when our son was 2 years, 9 months and he slept on the couch bed with a bed rail. The pack and plays are usually too small for older toddlers, and there’s a height restriction of 35 inches on most models.

And a weight limit of 30 lbs, which my son hit at 18 months. I can’t imagine most 2.5 year olds being comfortable in a PnP…I’d do what this poster suggested. I’m fact, we stuck our not-quite-3 year old in a queen bed with rails at the Poly by himself for 5 nights and it was fine!

Yeah, I know it’s not feasible for every family, but we planned to transition our son to a toddler bed a few months before the cruise specifically so he’d be used to not sleeping in a crib. He climbed out a few weeks before we were gonna convert his crib so we had no choice to start early, haha.

My 2.5 year old slept on the couch with rails and did great! He was still sleeping in a crib at home but he had no issue (though he partied hard all day and slept like a log at night!). He did not fit in a pack n play anymore.

You could do that + a pack n play for the baby.

The problem with the stateroom mini-fridge is that it typically will not be cold until the second day of the cruise.
