Is anyone else as frustrated with the DCL website as I am? You'd think with all the money that Disney has, they could make a decent website, but it has been YEARS and their website is still a huge, horrible mess.

Does anyone know what the actual "trick" is to have the website show you what your Castaway Club number is? Sometimes I log in, and it's there. Other times, I log in, and it's just the generic "Let us tell you about the Club" page. I know exactly where to go to because I HAVE actually been able to see it before, but sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. I have tried logging in, logging out, going to the page after logging in, not logging in till I get to the page - multiple combinations of what seems like some kind of almighty secret code-breaker way to logging in to get it to show, but it's only rarely successful.

It's also been quite a while since it's shown my previous cruises (on the rare occassions it actually seems to log me in to see my CC info). It used to show all my cruises and the dates and room numbers I had on those cruises, but not anymore. Is this the same for everyone or is that just another secret code-breaker requirement to show where that is now?

Honestly, I can't think of another major corporation with such a buggy website.

I've read elsewhere that the recent DCL site "upgrades" inadvertently wiped the sailing records from the Castaway Club site. Word was they were trying to get them restored, but honestly I'm not holding my breath.

For your Castaway Club number, the best recommendation I can give is to keep an old booking confirmation. Seems like a safer bet than relying on Disney IT.

If I go here: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/why-cruise-disney/castaway-club/ it shows me my number when I am logged in. If I am not already logged in it brings up a prompt to log in.

I scroll down the page past the video about the Wish and it says welcome back and then it tells me I am a Gold member and gives me my #, then tells me I have sailed with them X times. If I scroll down more it goes into the benefits of being Gold.

Some months ago they did a major update of their website and when they did the ability to see the list of previous completed cruises went away for everyone. All you get now is the # of completed cruises, no listing. Rather frustrating as I found that list helpful from time to time.

I just went to the DCL website, clicked on "Castaway Club" link and logged in on the first page.

I can see my CC#, Platinum Status, & how many cruises I've been on.

Now, since the massively unsuccessful "upgrade" a few months ago, there are things you can no longer access there:
List of cruises, and room numbers on each cruise is one of them.

OMG this could not be more timely. I just spent 30 minutes on the DCL site with my friend on another phone and I was trying to walk her through where to find her number. We got that far and then I was looking for my list of past cruises and can't find it anywhere but I am almost positive I found it since the "upgrade". Can't find it anywhere now. She wanted to see her past cruises as she thought last cruise put her at Platinum but she is still showing as Gold. She wanted to compare her paperwork to what the website said.

I truly hope the list of past cruises comes back......but at least I have a master list of my own of all my past cruises but the website is so dang frustrating!!!!!

I go to the same page (when not already logged in) and sometimes it shows me the "Log In" button under the video for the Wish, but sometimes it doesn't. Even when it does show the button, I go ahead and log in and it just takes me back to the same page with the general information but without the Log In button now. Other times, it doesn't show the Log In button, so I use the "Sign in or Create Account" link at the top of the page, log in, and it still brings me back to the general information. I guess the fact that the same page can appear differently every time I go to it (sometimes with or without the Log In button) should be enough to know it's just their website that's buggy. But it's just extremely frustrating.

I was able to access my CC info one time earlier this evening using my phone (iOS) but then it was gone later on my phone and hasn't appeared on my desktop all night. It's just crazy.

This is what baffles me so much. Disney IT can't be a small department...and you'd think they'd devote some resources to it. But "data backup" is not a new concept and the fact that a company that's supposed to be as advanced as Disney could have this kind of "oopsie" is crazy. It seems like just one step down from them actually managing to wipe out all their current reservations and causing mayhem.

I'm not over here hopping mad or anything but just truly and honestly baffled by how bad their website has been for so many years and that they've only somehow managed to make it worse over all that time instead of actually fixing it.
