DCL transportation and PAT/Palo brunch

My checkin for the April 9 Fantasy cruise starts at 12:01 tonight. Two questions:

1. If I take DCL transportation from MCO, I do NOT need to worry about getting an early PAT, correct? I can just enter the terminal when the bus gets there?

2. Does Palo brunch usually fill up/is it hard to get a spot?

Wondering whether I need to stay up to checkin/get Palo reservations at 12:01, or I could just wait until the morning (we are not booking any excursions)?

1. If you take DCL transportation to the port, you will be allowed to enter the terminal when the bus gets there. However, your boarding number that you get when you check in at the terminal is tied to the PAT you select. You will receive the same boarding number, regardless of what time you actually check in. Earlier PAT = lower boarding number.

2. Depends a bit on how many sea days your cruise has. Brunch is only on sea days and does book up fairly quickly. However, if you can't get a reservation online, pre-cruise, the do hold back some reservations for booking onboard. Just check the Navigator you get in the terminal for where/when the Palo dining changes are being handled and go there once onboard.

Wait until morning, or wait up til midnight - your choice. You don't have to complete the check-in to book Palo. If you want to just wait up and secure your Palo reservation, you can come back later to do everything else.
