I'll be on the Disney Wonder in mid January. Any tips on where/when to get a great sunrise/sunset photo? :sunny:

Or got any to show me to make me jealous? ;)

You'll have an opportunity for a beautiful photo, pretty much every night. Sunsets are beautiful at sea. It's not just the unobstructed horizon, they seem to be redder and more brilliant. I guess it's all the moisture in the air.

I liked deck 5 for getting sunset shots. Also a good place to get group shots with the sea behind. I like this spot because my family are all squinters, get in light in their faces and we all squint. I dare not this shot on one of the top decks in the setting sun.

Here's a pic of me and the DW after dinner aboard the Magic last Sept.

Came out of Animator's and saw this beautiful sunset. Had one of our tablemates snap this pic of the two of us. It's definitely my favorite out of hundreds taken.

I agree with rpthokie, the sunsets at sea are awesome! You won't be disappointed.

Have fun!

LOL, looking towards the West or the East at sunset or sunrise???? :rotfl2:

Sorry for the wisecrack, but like was mentioned already, being out on the sea makes for some great opportunities for sun related photos. The water and the reflections are terrific. I really like the full moon photo ops as well, except those are less likely unless you plan or get lucky with your booking dates.

I've always loved this shot:

:worship: Amazing shot.

That's EXACTLY the sort of shot i've been looking for to frame in my hallway - any chance you could email me the full-resolution one? (if you don't mind be being cheeky!) :goodvibes:

Taken from the railing of our verandah, camera balanced on a wine box, LOL.

First sunrise, first cruise. So excited we dragged the kids up in their PJs to see it (note the toussled hair).
