I know, the lack of a casino was a positive on Disney for us. But I am flabbergasted on other lines how big a part the casino plays in some people's cruise. People planning to gamble enough to earn another cruise......thousands of dollars. A not really free cruise. But I am in California, where the number of Indian Casinos have exploded. Gambling is no longer a trip out of state, it is a 20 minute drive. If having a casino is super important then you aren’t looking at a Disney cruise. Although I would be more than happy if they converted those high price jewelry stores that I never see anyone in to some slots. But they must pay a good penny to have that much real estate onboard.
