OK, I have two comments to make, and I really mean them in all sincerely. We have cruised on
DCL a lot...actually need to update our ticker for 3 more. I am only mentioning this to gain a bit of credibility if I come under attack!
1) I love cruising, I love the Carribbean, I love the islands, I love the ship, I love the decks, the servers, the food, the music, the ambience, the crew...I love a true vacation from laundry, cooking cleaning. OK - obviously I am truly deliriously happy on board. I really don't even NOTICE what people wear to dinner. I could care less. We don't dress up. Luggage concerns, and we refuse to pack dinner jackets when we escape our MN winter and said at Xmas. if you dress up, or wear a kilt, my daughter and I love seeing it, but again, we could care less. Are there really people writing here who get perturbed by what other people wear? And, if so, can I ask if you are maybe a formal or wealthy family?
2) Lastly, and again not trying to start a fight. I hate cigarette smoke. My problem. But, every single time we book a veranda we always wonder if we are completely wasting money bcs we have been next to heavy smokers whose smoke is so nasty to us. Can't even open our window.
So, we waste the money to pay for a veranda that we can't use. I know a lot of people say they won't book if they can't smoke. Are there really a lot of you out there that are really serious about that being a show stopper? I am curious about the numbers with this...it seems to me Disney usually crunches numbers
When faced with this type of dilemma. Do us die hard smoke haters really outnumber smokers that cruise Disney?
