I don't understand. Sometimes my pictures come out a nice size. And other times they come out huge! I don't do anything different to certain pictures! :confused3

No pic from me today but just wanted to share that I just got the new Sony Cybershot H5 with 7.2 mp and 12x zoom!!! Batteries are charging as we speak...can't wait to take that on our next cruise!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

We have had Sony Cybershots (3x zoom) before and I love them and I just love the fact that this has such a great zoom and twice the mp of our old Sony!! So many times I would want to get a close up with my digital and it fell short of what I wanted to capture...

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled programming.... :bounce:

Aquarium Screensaver on the Dumbotron, Disney Magic, December 2005

CC: Do you REALLY expect us to believe that this picture had nothing to do with the two girls in bikinis on the lounges? :thumbsup2 That is the first thing I noticed! Was there even a dumbotron in the picture?

Hey Lisa,

Wow, and I thought I took a long time sorting through my photos! It's funny you know, one day we were up on deck 5 looking down, and my wife pointed you out in the crowd at the Mrs. Claus story reading! She said, "Hey that's lbgraves from the Disboards!" I think you had a flower dress on with the red handbag. I think we actually have a photo of you in the crowd. You were also on our Galley Tour from December 2004 apparently or so my wife tells me.

Where's Lisa? Mrs. Claus Story Time, Disney Magic, December 2005

HERE I AM!!! My DH & DD are also in the picture. :) Thanks!

You know, one of the best things about knowing so many DISers onboard is that there are pictures you didn't know about to add to your collection. :) DH was suppose to take DS to the club so that we could do the behind to scene theater presentation. DH didn't show up until almost the end. They had passed by the atrium & the Mickey 200 race was about to start so the two of them made the vegie car. He didn't have a camera with them but DS told me that some lady I know took his picture. A couple weeks later Jen emailed me with the shot that she took of her kids with DS lined up to race. :)

That is so cool!

My fear is that there are pics of me out there on someone else's camera...and that could be a very scary thing!!!!

Best of days!

I was just thinking of drinking a drink and chilling on CC and I saw the island picture. My cruise is never going to get here :furious: Keep the pictures comming I am going to need them over the next 18months.

The size of the image when you get the address matters. I'm guessing you upload the same size image - however - there are a couple of ways you can LOOK at this image. At the photo site I use there are several ways of examining an image and it resizes for each. Depending on which image I use for an address to post into the DIS - I can get different sized images. Generally - I commonly use the largest or the smaller rough medium sized preview image. You must have the same thing going on IF you are using the same size images uploaded.

Does this make any sense? If someone else has another POV - please post it so I'll learn a thing or two. :confused3

And on another note....

I did not think canadiancruiser is guilty of anything immoral here. These young ladies were wearing swimsuits - and they are pretty far away. Clearly they are not the primary subject in the image. But on the other hand - exactly what was the primary subject here? :confused3 Unless it is a casual deck view. I have shot a few of those before. ;) And sometimes there WERE bikini clad females in the viewfinder. .... :rotfl2:

Below are a couple of my St Maarten Orient Beach and Castaway Caye photos - and there are some bikinis in the background somewhere!

So am I guilty of immoral thoughts if someone gets in the way of my lense when I'm trying to captire a nice shot of the ship or landscape? :confused3

That's what photoshop is for! That and to "erase" me out of pictures!! Great Pic!!!

Oh wow- thanks about the pic but you simply MUST tell me how you did that! Please oh please. Every single one of our pictures from this cruise has a big huge date (and the wrong one at that- not even close! Wrong year, wrong month, etc. LOL) on them and it really stinks. :( I have no idea how you did that!

No magic to it! :wizard: In photoshop, and some other photo editing software, there is a tool called a "clone stamp" and it IS really cool. The best way I can describe it is cut-and-paste with a paint brush. You (alt) click on the area you want to copy and then you can paint across the area where you want to copy it to. It's really simple and works great. But your photo editing software has to have the feature and you have to know it's there (somebody showed me how by erasing me out of this picture of my DD on the beach).

OOps. I posted non-DCL pics ;)

WAY COOL!!! :) In our program it is called clone painting. I just did a search in help for "clone." That was too easy!!! I was able to take out a few extra limbs showing up from the side of a picture of my kids in a pool. :)

Very interesting! That and the black/white of most of the picture but leaving some in color.. I have to learn how to do this stuff! Cool...

Took a photo of this while on the Wonder! I have not seen one of these on the Magic...thought it was a beautiful piece of art.

That's *really* pretty Tif!

I found this in one of the stairwells on the Magic and absolutely *had* to have a shot of it :)

Tiggerwannabe...

LOVED the shot! I will have to take one when we go at the end of July! It looks like Walt is leaning over to talk to you! I have seen it, but not thought to take such a great shot! It is amazing how many things we look at, think it's beautiful, but don't think to capture it on film! Thanks for so many new ideas coming up!

Scottishwee...thanks bunches!!! By the way, love your name!

My island is calling me, :listen: can you hear it too?

IMG_1567.jpg

It's calling to us loud and clear. We were at WDW this past week for a work thing, and DBF looked at me and said, "Want to hop on a 3 night this weekend?" Sadly, since we did back to back 3-nights in April (we made our own CC double dip!), that wasn't in the budget.

If you forget again you can use mine :)

That's the beauty of the DIS, like the OPs earlier who are using each others photos for their own scrapbooks. I always find myself looking for *anybody* familiar in others' photos.
