Very interesting! That and the black/white of most of the picture but leaving some in color.. I have to learn how to do this stuff! Cool...

The directions for doing that are earlier in this post. We are just stopping in for a little bit or I would search. I'll check later if you don't find it. I managed to figure it out & did one of DD by the tree in her Santa hat. :) It was pretty easy. :)

This is a sign my DBF noticed on CC. I was wondering how many people have seen it, and if anyone knows who Al Weiss is!? (I know just wondering about others!)

CC: Do you REALLY expect us to believe that this picture had nothing to do with the two girls in bikinis on the lounges? :thumbsup2 That is the first thing I noticed! Was there even a dumbotron in the picture?

What girls in bikinis? :surfweb: Oooh those two. Well, I certainly can't help it if people won't get out of the way of my shots. I did try asking those people if they could move to the other side of the vessel for a few minutes while I took my photos, but they weren't kind enough to oblige. What's a shutterbug to do? :rolleyes1

There is also a sign for Matt Ouimet and Tom McAlpin. I asked Mr. McAlpin if there were others and that was it at the time I asked. Maybe more now?

I like how the flash makes the Minnie silouette stand out

I always think it is fun to watch the crew try to catch the ropes!

Here is one of Minnie in the Welcome Aboard show. (Don't worry, I didn't use a flash!)

OK I have had some fun with the clone painting tonight. I can't get the other underwater program to work though. :(

No magic to it! :wizard: In photoshop, and some other photo editing software, there is a tool called a "clone stamp" and it IS really cool. The best way I can describe it is cut-and-paste with a paint brush. You (alt) click on the area you want to copy and then you can paint across the area where you want to copy it to. It's really simple and works great. But your photo editing software has to have the feature and you have to know it's there (somebody showed me how by erasing me out of this picture of my DD on the beach).

See the thread on the Photograph Board about cleaning up underwater photos with Photoshop for details on how this was processed, it was very easy.

Thank you so much for this link - even though I couldn't get the program to work right, I was able to use CTR-SHFT-B to make my underwater pictures a little better!

For the life of me, though, I cannot figure out how to use the clone thing. I am seriously considering taking a class for Photoshop because I am completely clueless!

I really appreciate your tips, though. :goodvibes

I don't understand. Sometimes my pictures come out a nice size. And other times they come out huge! I don't do anything different to certain pictures! :confused3

I keep running into the same problem! I have my photos on Photobucket and I go on there and re-size the picture but it keeps going back to the original size (which is huge) when I try to post it on the board!

It doesn't happen with all of them - just the ones I really want to post!

I would so appreciate someone letting my know what I'm doing wrong. Oh, and as I said in my previous post, I'm computer-impaired so please use small words. :rotfl:

No pic from me today but just wanted to share that I just got the new Sony Cybershot H5 with 7.2 mp and 12x zoom!!! Batteries are charging as we speak...can't wait to take that on our next cruise!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

We have had Sony Cybershots (3x zoom) before and I love them and I just love the fact that this has such a great zoom and twice the mp of our old Sony!! So many times I would want to get a close up with my digital and it fell short of what I wanted to capture...

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled programming.... :bounce:
I had a Sony Cybershot DSC-P71, it was a 3.2 megapixel and 3x zoom. Last year I upgraded to the DSC-H1, it is the predecessor to what you have it is 5.1mp and 12x optical zoom. I got four 16 x 20 inch photos printed from my cruise and WDW and they all turned out great. I love it, especially the image stabilization.

popcorn:: Well, ah, oh, hmmm... :rolleyes1 That does seem to be a recurring problem in some of my photos now that you mention it. :teeth:

Curious about how deep the pool is? It's 5 Ft or 1.25 M.

Consider using imageshack.us. You can resize the image when you are uploading it. They also show it URL in a format that is DIS Board friendly, easy to copy and past.
