Hi Tigg!

You are so right...I much prefer being behind the lens rather than in front of it. My parents are truly gorgeous individuals and yet being behind the camera was always what my dad enjoyed, and my mother truly played down her looks. Once I had kids, I really found a love of working with the camera. The trouble is when they need a shot with me in it for a school thing...it's really hard to find one. I am posting one of my folks with my DD after a bball game. My mom was a Miss Illinois many years ago.

By the way, my parents are only 62, but my mom has a terminal illness...but she is still fighting. While still gorgeous, she looks tired here.

Well, God Bless her This is a gorgeous photo I was raised by my grandparents and I totally believe grandparents should be actively involved in their grandkids' lives.....I'm sure your daughter will cherish this photo

P&PD that your Mom comes out of her fight a winner....

They look fabulously happy in your photo, you're lucky to have such great parents.

With the photography, I've learned that every once in a while you have to hand someone else the camera, or turn it around

I actually did that alot on the cruise, esp when the dcl photographers came around...they'll gladly take a shot with your camera after they take theirs

(sorry for the "text box" with date- I had to do that because for some reason all my pictures from this trip had the date on it- which I had not set- and so all the pictures had weird January 2005 dates on them! *sigh*)

I have saved so many of your pictures for those extra filler shots for our scrapbook. You did take them the same week we were on the ship so it is another view of our cruise. I am just now going thru our pictures from the 12/10/05 cruise to caption them & check for red eye so that I can upload them to a site to get prints made. This is terrible!!! I am finding some that I didn't know about.

Wow, and I thought I took a long time sorting through my photos! It's funny you know, one day we were up on deck 5 looking down, and my wife pointed you out in the crowd at the Mrs. Claus story reading! She said, "Hey that's lbgraves from the Disboards!" I think you had a flower dress on with the red handbag. I think we actually have a photo of you in the crowd. You were also on our Galley Tour from December 2004 apparently or so my wife tells me.
